As the title says, tomorrow's update supposed to bring some new stuff like snow and ice. What are the most looked-for features ?

VR, snow and ice realtime coverage, new liveries, other minor bug corrections and as a bonus feature that most await with bated breath, some new bugs 😀

Don't care much about additional features at the moment to be honest. Just bug fixes

Definitely the real time snow coverage.  I’m not sure what else is planned?

Never tried VR before but for VR do you need to have above some certain FPS to have a normal experience ? Would love to try it.

Looking forward to Snow and ice. Dreading it breaking mods and then the wait time for them to be fixed.

They have said they may spring a few surprises on us.

I am hoping we might start to get a few particle effects, such as water spray/wakes, contrails etc.

The main bug fix I want is to do something with the LOD so it doesn't show the scenery pop-up and mountain/coastline morphing so badly.

Other than that, I just don't want any critical bugs introduced jut as they all go on holiday for Christmas, as this holiday will be the first time I can spend a lot of time with the sim, so I really couldn't bear it if it was broken.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Clouds rolled back prior to update 5... Hopefully less grainy an pixelated.

Contrails would be awesome.

VR....'nuff said.

Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1

Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)

vr, which leads to reviews, then maybe a recommendation for a vr headset that I can get right away in stock.  The G2 probably wont be for quite a while.

MSFS Alpha tester on W10 Pro x64. Hardware: AMD 5900X 12 core CPU. Cooler Master ML360R AIO, Asus X570-E mobo, Asus Strix 3090 24GB gfx card, G.Skill TridentZ 64GB (4x16) DDR4-3600 RAM, Samsung 970 250GB SSD (OS), Samsung 980 Pro 1TB M.2 pcie-4 NVMe SSD (MSFS install). EVGA 850w Gold cert PSU, CUK Continuum full ATX tower.  43" Sceptre 4K display. VR: HP Reverb G2.

Primarily hoping the coastline glitches are patched, perhaps along with fixes to some zendesk tickets I had opened...

But snow and ice coverage would be awesome.

I've heard of people's G2 orders shipping within days recently.  I pre-ordered rather late, early November, and mine is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, which is just in time.

That sounds pretty promising.  I wonder what kind of wait time it would be if I order after reviews.
