If this property is not present in the effect file, P3D will asume 2000 lumen's, this is why you can see sometimes big bright lights on certain add-on's. B) Amount of light present in the Alpha value of the color of the light for day and night: This is the old value used before since P3D V4, this value will be used to represent light against NON PBR Objects. This is what get's tricky: 1) if your airplane is NON PBR and the effect file is configured only with Lumens.. the light will be ZERO againts your airplane since your airplane is being rendered with non PBR material. 2) If your airplane is PBR and the effect file is configured only with the old value via the RGBA, the light will be super bright (2000 lumens) against your airplane since P3D will asume 2000 lumens as default. So you need to set both values correctly so the light effect always looks good. The changes above have been present since P3D V5.0, LM warned all developers regarding the changes for effects file since this was necessary in order to implement linear lighting for the simulator and increase performance. Prior to the release of P3D V5.0 I had to re-adjust over 300,000 effects files.. yes, you read it correctly, 300K effects (not only for my add-on's, I work with other developers to create effects) and yes.. it was all FOR FREE.. The difference with 5.1 is that HDR is now ENFORCED with EA enabled, making the lighting behavior explained above more obvious, what you guys are describing is not a bug. It is the lack of updating of effects as per P3D V5.0 requirements. I tweak each of my effects to work with PBR and non PBR materials (this is for all add-on's I am involved with different partners and developers ).. it takes a lot of time, work and dedication.. and it is the reason why such products have the price tag they have, they just works as they should. S. I have a feeling inside that some developers may not have the will to do all this work, as you have pointed out, it sounds like an extreme amount of work. Or at least bring a new version out and charge a new fee for all the conversion work. I am not sure if some developers would be up for it, mind you I hope I am wrong. December 30, 20205 yr I will be interested to read Gerard's verdict regarding compatibility between v1.3 and ORBx TrueEarth Netherlands. I suspect that we will need to wait for v2 to have any chance of that. December 30, 20205 yr Was the Amsterdam LC layer removed with this update? I installed the update over the top of what was existing and Lorby reported issues with a non-existent LC. December 30, 20205 yr No SODE jetways in v1.3. Probably in V2 which will be released in a short while. In the meantime I saw some issues. If you find issues please post them too : https://www.flytampa.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=32&t=14349 Regarding TE NL and FT Amsterdam : it all looks good but I prefer the houses that Orbx uses. December 30, 20205 yr I've done a full re-install. Can confirm this is neither a LC folder anymore or SODE jetways. It does seem to be playing nicely with TE NL though. The only issue I can see at the moment is an elevation problem with some apron vehicles, which I think was an existing issue. Can someone remind me how to fix that other than turning them off in the configurator? Ian S

Is it like some apron vehicles are hovering above the ground level.......as if there is some space below them and the ground? If yes, I do see this on several airports like FACT, FALE, EHAM, TNCM, OMDB, RCSS, RJBB, RJAA, KSEA, etc... So various devs and always the same issue. Feedback would be kind. I thought already this was a problem on my end. Marcus Regards, Marcus P.
