No, I don't think you have to 'activate' the APPR in the PROC menu. You can fly the approach with it loaded and use the APPR button on the 'MCP' (forgot what it's called on the Garmin). I'm not sure about VLOC...maybe on the PFD it does, but you still have to switch to green needles eventually for ILS approaches? I might have conflated auto sequencing with auto activating. Jeff D. December 31, 20205 yr I just tested this and it all worked as it should. However I did not the plane thought I had a crosswind of 20knts, but the ATIS was reporting a headwind of 8 knts. SO the plane was crabbing when it shouldn't have been, causing it to be way off center...

The only thing it seems to report correctly is runways in use.

The glide slope indicator shows on the main display, but I couldn't get Autopilot to capture it like I can using ILS. I tried both the VNAV and APPR buttons. Had to fly the glide slope manually. Am I doing something wrong, or doesn't it work right? Edited January 2, 20215 yr by NightOfDreams

In my experience with this sim, you need to dial the field elevation of the airport in addition to pressing the APR button or it won’t fly the glide path. https://www.mediafire.com/view/dz3buh31pti9cej/BoeingDriverSignature.jpg/file

Can you set field elevation in the CJ4? I know theres a knob in the A320, but not sure how to do that in the CJ4
