However, he also said that they have no issue with any weather add-ons that manage to work within the limitations that exist. And add-on makers will probably figure out more ways to inject themselves into the weather systems as time goes on and they tinker with the code more. Jörg being one of the Asobo / Microsoft team I assume. Thats encouraging. I suppose it depends on those limitations and how difficult it is for third parties to write their data into the sim. It isn’t that I have no faith in Asobo not being able to make the weather look good. It’s the lack of historical weather I find disappointing. Have they mentioned that aspect at all? However, that does not mean that he is not interested in what others have to say about Microsoft Flight Simulator Thanks Christopher. 👍 My hands are tied to a certain extent. FS Labs are only going to produce one 64-bit version of Concorde which means I will always own P3D. But I’m not adverse to buying MSFS when the time is right. I haven’t used a mouse to change COM or NAV frequencies in over 20 years because that why I spent hundreds of pounds on GoFlight units. But with no mention on their website that they’ll support MSFS those would become useless. That’s a high price to pay for switching sims and one I can’t accept. Hopefully GoFlight will come to the rescue. Ray (Cheshire, England). February 9, 20215 yr I’m happily using my go flight MCP PRO and EFIS in MSFS using go flight Interface tool. I always used GFIT in P3D as well so no real change there. The only hardware I own that I can’t yet use is my Skalarki Airbus FCU and MCDU , but Skalarki/FBW are working on that. February 9, 20215 yr Hi Ray, I don’t own those units so can’t comment personally, but I saw this over in the GFIT forum: ”The following GoFlight hardware works with GIT for FS2020 in exactly the same way as with FSX, FSX SE, P3D and X-Plane:MCPPRO, MCP, EFIS, P8, T8, RP48, LGT, LGT II, GF45, GF46, GF166, WP6, MESM, SECM, DIO, TQ6” So it sounds like whenever you decide to make the leap, your goflight hardware will be good to go. I'm doing it with XP and MSFS. It will take MSFS the same amount of time to develope into the mature sim we all hope for no matter if you already use it now or later. That's how I see it. 😉 Happy with MSFS 🙂 home simming evolved

Those who bought MSFS when it came out were effectively buying a beta version and I still consider the sim to be evolving. I’ve already given my reasons why I’m not prepared to buy MSFS yet. In 12 months things will be a lot clearer. By then FS Labs should have released Concorde and I can free up space by removing P3D v3. Ray (Cheshire, England). There's bound to be a ton of changes to the core sim still and every add-on and mod is going to have reoccurring issues that need to be ironed out especially since the SDK is still not complete. This is still in Alpha for all intents and purposes... And I really am one not to get my self into constant frustration at this point! Chris Camp
