Your forgot option 3:

You have no issues with you crashing your plane or MSFS crashing.

That's the one that has my vote.

Mine too. 🙂 The sim never crashes and I daren't crash my aeroplanes because it would be disastrous for Air Hauler.

Pretty sure I turned off crash detection, so...yeah I've had no crashes.

If only Boeing had thought of that!

My experience really doesn't fit those choices.  The sim has crashed 3 times since I installed it (so that's 3 crashes over a 5-month period).  2 of those crashes were after I had landed at my destination, so only one time has a sim crash kept me from finishing a flight.

I have never crashed an aircraft.

However, the sim has crashed an aircraft twice: once when a hill in the middle of the runway threw the aircraft into the air in the middle of a takeoff run, and a second time when an invisible "ditch" between a taxiway and the runway sheared off the landing gear.

If the aircraft is not trying to kill me I do not fly it 😄

I love the RIP Anzani and the YMF-5 was a favourite until they made it boring in the recent patch.

I think I spent too much time flying 109's for the Reich in early 2000's original IL2 😄

Never had a CTD but I did forget to lower my landing gear once. I was wondering why my flare was so long.

One of the benefits of a FFB2, if the stick aint vibrating you forgot to lower the gear

never had a ctd, but did land once with wheels up (wondering at the time what that aweful siren was)  but even with crash detection on, still made the landing with a lot of scraping and smoke coming up from the bottom of the plane.  Made a bit of a mess of the runway though and it was an airhauler flight, so I just unloaded the aircraft where I was and went away whistling to the cafe and dropped the ground crew a few bucks to move it away from the runway.

Asobo should have separate gear up and gear down commands. There is only SET GEAR and CYCLE GEAR commands.

Imagine a button on a real life plane with these engraved letters: CYCLE GEAR. And I'm about to land. Now then, should I push it or not?
