I have Active Sky, Traffic Global (a masterpiece in coding which costs me just 1.5 FPS) XP Realistic and X-Vision on my widows install to name just a few. If the difference is substantial than great - people can think about installing Linux, if they want to go with the extra hassle. If the difference is neglible - and I think it is, otherwise you would have posted the result already - then mSparks will continue to claim that you "didn´t do it right", we will all roll our eyes at that and everything is just the way it was before. So you see, nothing to loose either way.

If your times are high GPU there is a couple of things you can do to improve it If your times are high CPU then there is a lot that can be done to improve it, just have to work out what's chomping through all your CPU ticks (which XP out of the box settings are pretty rubbish for) AutoATC Developer

I want to be absolutely sure I've got the NVidia drivers properly installed.
