Asobo tried their best with a stable release...and then MS comes along and says "hold my 🍺".

What a gong show.

I’ve been working away for the last 10 days, so have missed all of the update shenanigans. I was looking forward to flying as soon as I got home, however, after reading this lot, I don’t think it’s in my interest to power the PC up. Looks like it’s DCS time until MS get the mess cleared up.

You can fly ok, you just have to reset all of your settings each time you load it up.

Thankfully it remembers the joystick profiles I made.

Somehow I'm still running the older version of Gaming Services 2.50.5004.0 which is not effected by this bug. How do I stop my version from updating until a fix is released so I can keep on flying without loosing my settings.

I haven't opened MSFS in almost a week. Let me know when it's safe to run it again. Sheesh...

its has nothing to do with msfs, its the live xbox app (via the store). just set autoupdate to off.

i can see the update there. not going to apply it..np with flying.

Same here. I haven't touched it so I never noticed an issue. Seems like we should just be able to start MSFS normally now and ignore all of this, but I'm not sure.
