Logic dictates that means 5.2 is actually in existence, otherwise there wouldn't be anything that you couldn't talk about 😎.  Patience....

Simbol has done so many updates already for all of us......

He is currently working on 777 immersion package V2. This was communicated also by FSElite already....

my question was more related into the direction that everytime we got an update for AILights to match the new shaders the new version of P3D arrived a few days later.....

I finally wrote a batch file that I add to every time I have to remove Orbx components, and I run that batch after every use of Orbx Central to re-disable the files that conflict with my other sceneries.

You could not share your din.bat file for the rest of us to customize for our own use? It would be very labor saving. I know myself which files need to be protected from overwriting

It's fairly straightforward to do...just create a text file called "Orbx_Cleanup.bat" and add one line for each file in the form:

del "fullpathname" (keep the double quotes due to spaces in the path names)

for example (I have the Imaginesim KSJC and the Orbx ADE files conflict with it and need removed):

del "X:\ORBX\Library\P3Dv5\NA Northern California\ORBX\FTX_NA\FTX_NA_NCA05_SCENERY\scenery\ADEX_FTX_NCA_KSJC_Mineta_San_Jose_Intl.BGL"
del "X:\ORBX\Library\P3Dv5\NA Northern California\ORBX\FTX_NA\FTX_NA_NCA05_SCENERY\scenery\ADEX_FTX_NCA_KSJC_Mineta_San_Jose_Intl_CVX.BGL"

etc etc

That seems way to easy. When you say "check files" with Orbx central, do you mean verify files?

Exactly, I couldn´t remember the term.

Speaking of this, can someone point me to a helpful post or guide on how to update all 3 components of P3D when one has most of their scenery installed outside P3D including all the global Orbx products? I do have some stuff installed inside the sim such as Flightbeam and DD scenery.

In the past I would uninstall everything and start all over but that is such a pain.

Do NOT miss any steps, or your flight sim will not work!!!!!
