Later today or tomorrow morning for the G3X.

CJ4 update also coming soon.

Hi, still looking for this G3X update. I can only see the latest version v0.1.0-dev5 at the github page. I'm probably missing something?. A update won't be needed?.

Cheers, Ed

Dev 6 is an interim release.

Rob had this to say about it on Discord:

Quote

I've created an interim release that's built on the new underlying G3X and moves over the basic theming, the CAS functionality, and the autopilot module.   The notable things it's lacking are map rotation and nexrad.  Hopefully this will tide folks over for a day or so.

I think he'll have a more complete update in the next couple days, but the above version is compatible.

@kaosfere may be able to shed a little more light.

The Contrails are affected by the outside temperature, cool, they don’t just appear after a certain height. IDK if FSX/P3D contrails did that, I never messed with them

Just a heads up folks the STEAM version will NOT start after the update... So do not go online to start the game as it will not give you a choice to not download. Hopefully a hotfix will be out soon...

????

I use the Steam version and updated Tuesday when it came out. In fact, I beat the liveries additions which were left out of the inertial update and then was updated them on the next MSFS start. MSFS starts and runs fine for me.

Working just fine here, at this moment. And yesterday. And the day before. Etc.

Perhaps an issue at your end? Or a glitch that has now been fixed?

Well that's interesting. I started up MSFS last night and it did the small steam update and then never proceeded to load the game. I restarted and still would not start. I have never had a problem with an update before this one.

Luckily the Steam server issue as mentioned in another thread must have been all it was. I started MSFS last night and it started up no problem. Performed a saved flight PDX-SEA and was still around 33FPS landing at sea on ultra settings and tons of traffic last night, seemed about the same as I remember pre-update.
