Ive observed the thread from the get go waiting for you to properly explain to everyone here who isnt familiar with your product to explain what it does and how is it different from whats built into the sim. You nailed it thanks. That's exactly the problem, I should have described the product myself rather than assume people will go check what it is by themselves (Google...) before posting unrelated critics. I won't make this mistake anymore 🙂 Edited March 15, 20215 yr by Noooch
March 15, 20215 yr Author @himmelhorse No I don't have it, it can't be used because of Msfs current limitations. But it will be like XPRealistic, hopefully better !

You advertised a product without providing any details as to what this product actually does. You then ask us to google the product, which I did. I came away with the impression that it is sort of like Accufeel from Accusim. Secondly, you claimed that "core camera functionalities" were missing without, again, explaining what it is you mean. Thirdly, you didn't explain what this addon actually does that MSFS 2020 doesn't do. Let me give you a few examples: Flaps lever Adding a more realistic sound to the flaps lever. - no idea what that means. Turbulence shakings Feel and hear the shaking caused by turbulence hitting the aircraft - turbulence in MSFS causes the aircraft to shake. No idea what "feel the turbulence" means. Sneezing Once in a while you'll sneeze, let's hope it won't happen during a landing flare - no comment, sounds like the sneezing and coughing pilot gimmick from Aerosoft. Reverse thrust Feel the power of your engines during reverse thrust - no idea what that means. Ground roll Add realistic taxi and runway rolling sounds to add to your real experience - implemented in MSFS 2020, it is not overpronounced, but it's there. Windshield rain Adds the realistic sound of raindrops hitting the windshield - already nicely implemented in MSDS 2020 Cockpit ambiance Random sounds coming from someone sitting in the cockpit - no idea what that means. Some features, on the other hand, do seem to add to the sim. Again, it's the responsibility of the developer or the person advertising the product to spell this out. It's not the buyer's job to figure out a product's unique selling proposition.

March 15, 20215 yr Personally I would love to see Chaseplane in MSFS. Yes you can mess around with the default camera system to get close but Chaseplane is just so easy to use, so easy to change things on the fly, its just better and I hope it eventually makes its way to MSFS. Mark CYYZ
March 15, 20215 yr Honestly after using MSFS since the release, I don't find the camera system that bad, it was all about getting used to and reminded me of X-Plane's default camera system. The only thing I don't find enough is the camera shake, I find it a bit weak though but something like XPRealistic would be a nice add-one to improve on that but I don't find it critical though. As a lot of other posters have already pointed this out so there's no need for me to repeat. One thing it does do very nicely - better than Chaseplane - is simulating the natural tilting and turning of your head in a turn, which you have also mentioned. March 15, 20215 yr All I really want from the default camera in spot / non drone view is the ability to get closer or further from the focus point (center of plane) while keeping the same zoom. Maybe its possible and I haven't explored enough to find the keybinding. Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory. The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire. To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune. There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you. It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.
March 15, 20215 yr XPRealistic does seem to have a very interesting head and view swivel capability from the videos linked. I've never used it, but the "auto-swivel your head up and diagonally into the turn" looks quite intuiative and something I'd ike to try in MSFS.

On the paper it may have a lot more sound effects than camera effects but actually when you use it, it feels more 50/50 than 95/5. I was only refering to the camera functionalities, it was obvious to me, but I should have made myself clearer about it 😉 Edited March 15, 20215 yr by Noooch
January 5, 20224 yr @Noooch Don't worry about it, your comments and meaning were quite clear to me and I agree that the default camera system needs some love & attention, still now nearly 18 months after release. Seems that some people just get annoyed for no good reason and should probably just not get involved in a conversation about a product if they feel that they have no personal use for it in the first place. You did nothing wrong. Some people just have a proverbial stick... Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
