Because the shader backup is just frozen in time at first install of ENVSHADE, though the backup´s are not reliable in any case, it´s recomended by TOGA to just repair-install of the P3D client, in case you want to go back to the native shaders. April 8, 20215 yr Hi guys, i would like to ask you for help regarding using Envshade and problem with affecting changes in P3D.. I already tried to post it on toga forum, but nobody is answering and I dont have access to the support forum for unknown reasons.. Just simply, if I make any change in Envshade, it is not reflected in the sim. I have latest versions of everything. I tried to reinstall P3D client, deleted shaders.. Reinstalled Envshade (outisde Program files location).. no success.. It worked once, when I bought this product, perfectly dark night, no issues at all. Once, I had to restore original shaders, even HLSL folder and since that time i cant get Envshade working again.. Has anyone of you experiencied such problem ? Thanks Jan
April 8, 20215 yr Each time you make a change you must install in the sim, check the button for that in envdir, then you need to reload shader in the sim. Frédéric Giraud
April 9, 20215 yr have you given envdir/envshade read write access and run as admin? ROG Crossair Hero X670e , 9900X, TUF 4090 , X4 NVME's. OS 2TB 980 Pro , MSFS 2TB WD Black , Kington Fury 64GB ram ( 6000) Corsair RM1000 PSU, Artic Freezer iii 360 AIO . Phanteks P600s Case ,TCL QM8B 50" 120 Hz TV,second 24 inch screen for charts you tube etc, and 11" touch screen for the EFB. Warthog Stick and TCA Captains throttle ( full pack) Velocity 1 Rudder Pedals , extreme3D for the Tiller,Streamdeck XL x2 / Streamdeck +/Streamdeck mini because i like pressing buttons

I like that effect in the last picture, however I am not seeing it on my sim. Ive cleared shaders, reinstalled the client then reapplied but still not seeing this effect. The shadowed area of the cockpit always looks the same regardless of weather I'm under fog, a full overcast, or a bright sunny sky.
