it doesn't make it less archaic and antiquated. But whatever make you feel better at night because you are part of the armchair pilots and yes LM doesn't give AF about you. Thanks for confirming that.

No armchair pilot here ...

Full size 737-800 cockpit with all systems working.

Waiting for the moment I can fly in MSFS. I could with just a little of the systems but then the US update came out and that was the end (CTD’s within 30 min )..

Simple system? 😦. But but, then FBW is simulating full electrical systems and they are working on full hydraulics simulation based on real life data. Plus the custom autopilot, custom fbw, custom engine model ... Etc. All these are very complex with tons of C++ code (you can open their github and check out the code)

Straight from RSR

I have been mostly-mis-quoted ten thousand times this week as having said something along the lines of "the MSFS SDK isn't capable of supporting what we do" or "MSFS isn't capable of supporting what we do." I want to be very clear in stating that this new sim is highly dynamic and changing continually. What may have been true in June of 2020 is not necessarily true any longer. From the standpoint of development, we are not currently seeing any major limitations to prevent us from bringing our product catalog into MSFS.

this new sim is highly dynamic and changing continually.

And that is the Achilles heal of MSFS ...

Perhaps you should read an FCOM of a 737-800. Then you will know what complex systems are...

Now you sound like an old man : Get off my lawn.....

this is the world we lived in. Adapt or be left behind.  And on that quote I gave you , you picked and selected  one part that might try to fit your narrative. So far you have been proven wrong. You are embarrassing yourself. I would quit before it get too ugly for you.

I'm glad PMDG is now saying so. This tells me once Asobo is no longer involved as much as before with the CRJ, they can devote more time to other 3rd party vendors, and this might be contributing to helping removing the remaining barriers. Otherwise, as a 3rd party vendor, if Asobo would be devoting their time to RXP, I'm certain I wouldn't say publicly there are major roadblocks either, if not for the fact they'll be by my side to help in case there is one, at least for fear of loosing their assistance. I'm just being honest saying so.

PMDG does not work in MSFS as many features they need are not present in MSFS.
Sure, they want to come to the MSFS market too but Asobo need to step up their work on the systems/sdk.

And Prosim is even further less compatible...

It doesn’t sound like you’re up to speed on what’s going on in the MSFS development ecosystem.  Check out FBW mod for A320, and as others have commented, PMDG has clarified and updated their position on the SDK.

Take a look at the Prosim website. Prosim is certified...

But that is not the point I am making.I want MSFS to work but things are not going to correct way.,,

Gerrad, what has been done in FBW is actually per FCOM, if you don't believe me, login to their discord and you will see that.

Prosim doesn't even use MSFS SDK to simulate systems. It's completely external. I believe you are confused about what MSFS SDK is and what it does.

Exactly - for ProSim MSFS SDK doesn't even have to be "advanced". All calculations are done inside the ProSim itself, not MSFS. MSFS (or in your case, P3D) is just used as a scenery generator. Same story for Aerowinx PSX, which works perfectly fine in MSFS.
