If you set any or all of the three to zero fuel I bet they will disappear from the airplane. It's true you can't drop them. Correct Zero % fuel in outer pair will remove them before loading flight Center is/are labelled 1,2,3, not sure which one at Zero % will take out the middle exterior tank, maybe #2? T45

April 2, 20215 yr OK so there is a short "skinny hand" on altimeter that suppose to show 10000+ as 1 or 20000+ as 2, but currently it stuck at 0. So I can't tell if is 9000 or 19000 ft Life time flight sim enthusiast, current airplane owner 172P (past C182F). With a deliberately short video, it is a bit tricky to fly it, remember what you planned to say to cover the points quickly, work the views, stay roughly in the pattern, time the engine revving for gaps in the V/O to show the sounds off, keep an eye on the CHT gauge, and all in something which was new to me a hour beforehand. It's a really nice add-on, sort of hard to fly, but enjoyably and rewardingly so, rather than being frustrating. I think it really does the real thing justice and raises the bar a bit for what we should expect from other developers. April 2, 20215 yr I'd recommend it, I had no trouble taking off but I guess I instantly albeit subconsciously had my feet on the rudder to offset any left pull based on my Waco and more so my Spitfire experience. I do agree that it would be nice to have that glass sights thingy removed as it is indeed a bit annoying and if one were to use this plane for GA nostalgia flying I would see that being removed. Maybe some hidden click spot in the cockpit to remove it would be nice.
April 2, 20215 yr Becasue this looks so much of a hand full, I am very intrested. It also looks a step up from the spit. Q, how would you navigate in this without the cheat map? Q, how would you navigate in this without the cheat map? Nice Vid thank you Alan. I guess we'll have to use traditional navigation techniques. VFR, DED reckoning etc. It does have a com radio, so you could also ask for vectors. At least with the MSFS visuals, VFR nav would be possible and if you have an E6B, a watch and can get a fair idea of the wind direction, then DED reckoning could be reasonably accurate.
