May 30, 20215 yr For 3+ years FlyTampa said KTL was under development. We never saw a preview or update and a yellow dot (meaning under construction) was place on KATKL. Now the yellow dot is gone. Does anyone know if KATL is ready to be released for P3D by FT? or the officially scrapped it? FT Forum is dead -no help there. Paul Gugliotta
May 30, 20215 yr would be a great surprise, but my guess is that it is scrapped. Will be kind of lame if the dev doesn't comment one way or another 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
May 30, 20215 yr Most of them have jumped into the MSFS train, so I doubt anyone will upgrade their products for P3D for the time being till the tides turn over 😏

Yeah and same for Flightbeam NZAA. Like it was announced 5 years ago? Lol. Even though they are still doing a p3d release (they have to since they announced it for p3d first unless they want to become a meme), they would have still put a pause on the p3d version to make sure they release it for msfs and p3d both.

I'm sure if FlyTampa is as far along as FB is with NZAA they would have released it. Or will release it. A lot of people would buy this for p3d even if numbers going down. ATL is the busiest airport in the USA. Their are tons of p3d'ers in Delta Virtual Airlines. I'm a huge fan of FlyTampa scenery. Huge. But their communications are terrible. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

The sales numbers will be higher than that of MSFS version also. I highly doubt the scenery devs are getting as much sales for their airport in MSFS compared to P3D. I know a scenery dev myself who has jumped back to XPlane due to the very poor sales numbers in the MSFS platform.

May 30, 20215 yr It will be really hard to see if they kill it off, remove the dot, then say nothing about it knowing some of their very loyal supporters have been waiting years. I think they have some burden of explanation in that case. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next

I believe Flightbeam ran in to access issues at NZAA early in development, so it was truly put on hold. Then work resumed more recently and they've been sharing updates the last couple months that look like it's getting close. Eric Szczesniak

May 31, 20215 yr Imaginesim's KATL is so good...I dunno having 2 same payware airports is a good idea, it dilutes the market share....aka less money for everyone How I Evaluate Third Party Sim Addon Developers Refined P3Dv5.0 HF2 Settings Part1 (has MaddogX) and older thread Part 2 (has PMDG 747)
