Try with a head tracking device or try panning your view around, and look at your "miracle" now🤣

As far as I can tell from the TrackIR videos I've seen, it looks good to me.

Look closer, everything pops up when you turn your head. It's like playing on a consolle.

Well I guess I'm one of the fortunate ones then. I don't experience that problem.

Maybe it's some graphics setting, or did you change something in the cfg?

Nope, I didn't change anything. This update has been the best one so far for me. Huge performance gains for me all around.

I gained the performance too, but there's this new bug.

Well,

I still have my old i5 2500, where I used to run MFS in before I upgraded to the new Ryzen 5600x, but the GPU was ported and is still the old GTX 960 4GB.

Today after pushing the update into the new rig I started MFS and was PUZZLED by the performance, no quirks like popping scenery, at leat in my install where I do have phtogrammetry enabled.

The additional smoothness I am getting even having increased the settings for AA, now on TAA, and update rate of the instrument screens on the G1000s and similar, gives me a much better "feel of flight", because the smoothness and total absence of sutters helps with controlling the aircraft in a final with medium gusting winds !

I am REALLY GLAD !!!  SU5 is a winner !  Viva xBox !!!!

Let's say you have some buildings in the distance in front of you.  If you do a quick switch from say, the front view in the cockpit, and then to the side window view, you may see some loading of distant objects that are further away.  Switch back to the front view and the buildings may load for you because you just came from the side view.

I don't use Track IR and for me, it's not a big issue.  It's definitely worth the FPS gains for me and everything is so much smoother for me.  But for some people, they dislike it.  I suppose if you like to jerk your head suddenly by 90 degrees in Track IR, it would affect you. I'm not sure who jerks their head that way in Track IR.

In any case, the fix for this is implementing a slider so people have control over this.  A slider would be the best of both worlds.

i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

I have an old i7 with 24gb ddr3 and a  rtx2070. This update is nothing short of miraculous for me. A massive increase in fps and fluidity.

@tull @jcomm Very interesting to hear your positive results, my MFS rig is of similar specification ([email protected], GTX980 4GB, 16GB RAM) and the update is downloading and installing now, I look forward to trying it out tonight. Although I'm not sure if i can remember how the sim was before, i've not flown in over a month waiting for this update! Have you experience any issues with control assignments?

@EmaRacing If you want to moan about the popping in and TrackIR, there's about 10 threads for that now, can we have just one where we don't have to read about it endlessly? @ckyliu, I shold point ot that I am now running MFS in a new rig, built specificlly with MFS and the upcoming XP12 in mind, and only the GPU was ported from the old rig with the i5 2500 ( not-k ) @ 3,2 GHz

This new rig is Ryzen 5600x - based with 32 GB RAM and NVme 2 1 TB SSD. I believe the NVme, and of couse the new motherboard and procesor certainly did  a big difference, but I was running the sim on it, and I do notice he incredible gain in smothness as well as in quality becase I was able to set higher graphics settings without any impact on performance.

I hope you can get the best results ckyliu 👍

I also have a 10 year old i7 2600k with GTX960 and extremely pleased with performance gains; buttery smooth at global high settings over NYC.

I see slight popups when changing view, but nothing that bothers me and totally worth the performance gain. I do max fps at 30, maybe that helps a bit.
