July 28, 20214 yr Thanks for the fix... I love this community... I did notice, however, that after modding the "UserCfg.opt" and changing it to "read only", an additional text file appears in the directory "BuilderLogError.txt"... should I be concerned?... but the scenery does look much better, with the changes... Can you expain how EyeAdaptation 0ColorGrading 0Sharpen 0 Can reduce "oversatured Hollywoodesque colors" EyeAdaptation is for when looking down in the VC and looking out to stop the transition from dark to light. ColourGrading can change colour.... Sharpening as it says on the tin....nothing to do with satured colours. So I tried ColourGrading it did nothing... 8 hours ago, roi1862 said: Sadly it didn't make much difference on my end. As well, removing the sharpen really makes things blurry. Really no surpise. If you having over brightness with the new update try this. Change to your own needs. Untick Override.....and then "apply" and after MSFS tick Override.....and apply. This way you have full control. Remember to remove the read only flag before installing updates, or attempting to change settings using in-game UI! Tweaks like this is why future updates are broken for some people. Best to just leave alone in my opinion. Thomas Derbyshire

Changing this can wreak havoc in general on the PC, I would not advise messing with these settings unless you are a calibrator and know what you are doing with proper tools at hand. I calibrate screens and projectors as a serious hobby, Messing with gamma will screw things badly. This needs to be fixed in the app itself, MSFS. Simming since FS 98.
