What if it's not just CO2 that is causing this, for example?

Again... scientists aren't idiots, they considered other causal factors long ago. We know definitively that the vast majority of warming is due to human beings burning fossil fuels. As Ive told you many times, we have a correlation between our emissions and temperature rise. Correlation isn't always causation, but we also know what the isotropic signature is of our burnt fossil fuels and its that isotropic signature we detect in the atmosphere.

We also have very good knowledge of what natural phenomena are required to generate the warming we see and none of those natural causal factors are present. Don't forget, we are seeing significant warming, and significant events are required to generate that significant warming we are experiencing. Planetary wobbles, shifts in the planets axis, reduced volcanic activity, orbital changes, solar variability, ocean currents, internal variability, all manner of possible natural causal factors have been considered.

I have a 1000 watt power supply.  I don't think it's ever used that level of power.  Even with FS2020.

Yep, a common finding. People panic about whether they have enough juice, spec a mighty PSU, then as soon as they plug a "Kill A Watt" meter in the wall they are surprised to see far less than the PSU's max rating. I's an advantage in a way, because you are then closer to the PSU's most efficient range... but then modern PSU's are pretty efficient right up to 80 - 90% load.

I believe this 100%!

Then you are foolish Bruce. Coleman was debunked years ago. Well before your 6 year old video was made.

While I do think that the earth has warmed relatively rapidly over the past 100 or so years, I don't believe it to be an extinction level event like the media and govts. want us to think.

Anyway, I find it amusing how Martin will instantly claim that an article, study, or person "has been debunked" if it doesn't support his beliefs.  He'll also claim that they are "funded by the fossil fuel industry".  Anything or anyone cited by him, however, well, they are genuine and must be believed.  I'm not surprised, as I doubt that Martin has a background in science or technology.  He reads articles and thinks he's an expert.

Science is about searching for the truth, which is frequently elusive.  This means constantly questioning what you think you know, and testing and observing repeatedly in order to prove a hypothesis.  There is no "consensus", and the 97% number is entirely fabricated.

For many people in positions of power, the issue of climate change is all about money and control, and not just that issue by the way.

Keep searching. Do your own research. Read books written by true authorities on the subject of climate  You will discover that there are many scientists who do not agree 100% with the current theory that human activity has caused most of the warming and that we are all doomed if we don't eliminate carbon emissions.

No, but you should capitalize the first letter of a sentence.

I had to get in on the rowdiness before this gets shut down.

Personal attack?  Whatever.  More like speculation, sarcasm, and criticism.

One thing this debate doesn't need is more hyperbole.
