In the meantime, this question is more basic than most others being asked about the new v0.3 🙂 :- Do we have a white "ALTS" annunciation on the FMA yet, when PIT, VS or FLC mode is active? (the G1000 is an "altitude preselect is always active" system - "ALTS" should be annunciated in white, as a standby mode, whenever one of the above vertical modes are selected, and preselected altitude is anything other than the current altitude).
