@everyone We are excited to announce v0.3.0 of the G1000NXi is launching in the Marketplace! Featuring a number of new features, such as correct hold entries, user waypoint and airway import from the world map, additional persistent settings, altitude alerter, and more. We also have a long list of bug fixes, including potential CTD solutions as well as an important fix for freezes with VNAV calculations.

As always, this is an Early Access Opt-In Beta, so there may be bugs or missing features! Please give us feedback and reports in #nxi-early-access. Thanks!

Head to the sim Marketplace to grab the NXi, or go to Content Manager to download the update. You can find the release notes here: https://www.workingtitle.aero/packages/nxi/2021/08/13/nxi-release-v0.3.0.html

The last version was crashing my sim so I'll wait to see what the general feedback is.

When? No update that I can see? And no update to the Caranado Ovation and CRJ either?

You may just have to wait a bit. I see/have the update.

I have it now. But I don't have the necessary patches to the CRJ and Ovation even though both developers say the have been pushed to Asobo. The moral of this is to never buy from the marketplace if there is an alternative.

Does the weather map work now?

Same, waiting on the Mooney update, I’m using control E for the Mooney in the meantime and filling up the left tank as flight progresses to keep in balance..Not immersive but makes it useable for the time being (seeing as how we can’t manipulate the fuel sector switch)

back on topic, I’ll take a look at the update for the 1000..Thanks for posting

Apparently the "technical"" problem that's preventing much needed updates going onto the store doesn't apply to internal projects?

No freezes no crashes for me.

The quotes are not necessary. The problem was indeed technical, an issue on the provider end that was preventing submissions from uploading.

This has been addressed by the provider this morning and the team is working through the backlog of submissions.

Matt, you just made my day!

From the beginning, I have wanted to be able to fly my standard test approach KTPA R01L LPV via PIE, and have run into all the problems with MSFS flightplans, again and again..

Today, I flew the approach, at 2000 feet, as I usually do, and completed it successfully, complete with a teardrop hold at FITPA (sized based on my airspeed!) and proper glidepath indications on the PFD.  🙂

Wow, here we are, one year (minus a week) after MSFS launch, and I completed my favorite LPV approach (in Rob Young's lovely Turbo Bonanza, no less).

Thank you!

ps. Just a PIREP:  Turning off the FD after landing, required many keypresses, and even then, the glideslope indicator did not want to give up.. 😉

Market Place means no updates most likely. Buyer beware.

That's good to know.

Do you know additionally if MS/Asobo will be doing out-of-band updates to help shift the backlog or if releases will be held back to the next Thursday as usual ?

Might be worth a look.. you can now choose a DTO to a waypoint in your flightplan, without losing the flightplan, as was customary in MSFS.

The flightplan page still does not scroll to the active leg which is inconvenient, but it looks to me like the WT team is building this thing brick by brick... and there is much to like in what they have constructed!

I would say that the days where we would laugh at the MSFS Garmins are coming to a close.. 🙂
