August 18, 20214 yr Okay I tried using SimBrief to import flight plans and it works better in one of the two cases. Previous tests were done with the World map. Edited August 18, 20214 yr by RobJC 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro
August 18, 20214 yr I can't see any wind data? How to enable wind overlay? C. Uygar Aircraft Maint. Engineer. at LTFJ
August 18, 20214 yr I have been trying to use the G1000NXi in the Baron58 but am having some issues. 1. After entering a FP the G1000NXi does fly the route correctly, but fails to capture the GS on an RNAV approach after approach activation. 2. After loading the FP (by hand), the FP display returns to a flashing Origin indication. It seems something is ALWAYS flashing -- is that normal? I expected flashing to stop after loading the approach. I had specified the departure and destination runways, the Baro minimuns, the approach and approach transition, etc. 3. When setting the Baro minimums I can only seem to increment the desired altitude in 10ft steps -- could not find any 'bigger' click spots. This is frustrating at a high altitude airport like KCOS where the mins are about 6300ft. 4. I am not using any other G1000 mods, Community folder is empty. I realize the G1000NXi is still under development, and perhaps that explains some of the above. Thanks for any advice, Al Edited August 18, 20214 yr by ark

If I start entering the flight plan with the keyboard I then can't move the flaps or the trim or hide the yokes anymore. Everything stops working Same thing for me. I tried restarting the sim a few times -- locked up every time. I also tried clicking on the screen in different places but it didn't seem to make any difference. Al
