I have seen MANY approaches where the ILS is WAY off and I've also seen MANY VASI and PAPI where the guided landing zone is way off. I don't think this is a CRJ problem, I believe it's a scenery problem. I tried the same approach in a C172 G1000 Nxi and it worked fine. It also worked fine in the WT CJ4... This was KRDU ILS 05L, standard airport, not a scenery addon.

Every contact with them has been quite normal and the products got updates very late into their life cycle and are quite polished. I always wonder if the three to five people harping on here and on the official MSFS forum about how awful Aerosoft is, are the same. And if they are representative. To me it is just a normal company with some nice and some outstanding addons. I dont disagree. I like their products and I think they are quality and worth the money. Only the communication/support is trash. So if you never ever go to their forum you will be an AS fan Lukas Dalton

My track to loc intercept was offset less than 30 degrees so it was a fairly easy intercept angle. The initial turn to capture was a bit early, but the AP eased it over to the loc course and didn't weave at all. Enroute LNAV still leaves a lot to be desired. I experienced late turns, early turns, a bit of zig-zag, and various unruly behavior. I try to not be too picky because I bet there's a lot of moving parts to calculating turn anticipation. It will really be interesting to see how the PMDG 737 handles LNAV. i7-6700k • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 • 32GB DDR4 2666 • EVGA FTW ULTRA RTX3080 12GB

The real CRJ uses a very long turn anticipation distance at high altitude (especially for a substantial course change) because the autopilot can only turn using a single fixed bank angle of 12.5 degrees above 31,600 feet. It can start a turn as much as 12 nm before reaching a waypoint. Jim BarrettLicensed Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic, Avionics, Electrical & Air Data Systems Specialist. This was KRDU ILS 05L, standard airport, not a scenery addon. Just finished flying KRDU approaches. Both ILS 05R and ILS 05L were flown very well by the AP. Slight deviations in GS tracking but never more than about +/- 1/4 ball. I let the AP fly each approach down to 200ft. then hand-flew short final. Weather was stormy, light rain and fairly steady light winds. The GS to touch-down zone was perfect, not low or high and agreed with the PAPI exactly. This is stock KRDU, HOWEVER, I have current Navigraph nav data installed in the sim AND CRJ. i7-6700k • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 • 32GB DDR4 2666 • EVGA FTW ULTRA RTX3080 12GB

August 16, 20214 yr Commercial Member I loaded a STAR and approach from the beginning of the flight and when later i was instructed for another STAR , the FMC messed it up. Is this something known? __________________________________________________________________________________________ My FS Photos - My MSFS Settings - i7-14700K / 64GB RAM / MSI 4070 Ti SUPER / 1440p
August 16, 20214 yr Notice the buttons on the screen have the diagonal blue fill - normally it's solid blue. Has anybody seen this before? Any idea what causes it to occur? i7-6700k • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 • 32GB DDR4 2666 • EVGA FTW ULTRA RTX3080 12GB

Any idea what causes it to occur? Wow! Something definitely wrong. Never seen anything like it on my end. No idea what could be your problem but the areas messed up in second pix are alphanumeric so could be a missing font or possibly a scaling issue. I changed the star to STAR2 (Same initial fix) and left the VOR1 approach unchanged.. .... and the legs where mixed up. Not all the fixes from STAR1 removed and the fixes from STAR2 added. I tried to delete the unneeded legs and although the FMC seemed to delete them , there weren't removed from the flight plan. I did not have the time to investigate further as i needed to land and i was online on VATSIM... __________________________________________________________________________________________ My FS Photos - My MSFS Settings - i7-14700K / 64GB RAM / MSI 4070 Ti SUPER / 1440p
