two 43" 4k tv's + one 49 " 4k tv or three identical ones?

3x 4K ?

And 3 3090s in Triple SLI and a 2000 Watt PSU? Or what’s the plan? 🙂

You better talk to your local authorities. If you switch that thing on you will cause a blackout for the rest of your street.

Hahaha yeah.

Why not get one large 77 inch 4K?

And then a couple of touschscreens running air manager. This is what I am currently setting up.
Plus I still have the 38 inch widescreen for main pc work.

Vous feriez mieux de parler à vos autorités locales. Si vous allumez cette chose, vous provoquerez une panne d'électricité pour le reste de votre rue.

Excellent!

VR is overrated. Completely overrated.

Totally disagree. VR is the only way I fly. I wouldn't use a sim that didn't offer VR. To each his own I guess.

I agree vr is the future!

I've been flying vr for 5 years now. I still have the feeling I'm wearing goggles and I'm looking at my 2003 crt monitor. I hooked up my 4k wide-screen monitor a couple of weeks ago and was blown away by the colors, clouds, brightness and serenity of the view.

Since im learning to fly airliners I need some documents, videos, charts, maps  a cup of coffee  etc.. all things that are almost impossible  right now in vr.

As soon as we have vr 130 degree vision in 4k I'm back in. I may hook up my rift s anytime soon when I figured out how to complete a flight successfully.

Thanks for all your thoughts  appreciate it

If you have ever seated in the captains chair of a real size flightsimulator you will find that VR is not on that par.

1x 3090 should be fine!

I have its smaller brother a G7 32" I love it to bits, as I sit very close the curve is wonderfull.

For a TV I would go for a LG C1 or the new Gallery. My "Wifes" new C1 55" is stunning.

I have posted this vid before.

I run 4 screens one is a touchscreen with all the instruments and radios, using Knobster and AirManager. This gives you hardware controls.

It works great for me. On a pretty old computer described in my sig.

amazing! 😍

i think this is ideal for me - 3 x 4k LARGE monitors for the outside view, then two 27" or something, one above and one below to show panels - ideally touchscreen

that's gonna need some horsepower though

I was just going to suggest the same thing! I had 3 24" monitors for a long time, running with triple head to go. Loved it, but decided to replace it with a 35" curved monitor. (Couldn't afford the 49". Some day...) Anyway, one thing I didn't even realize was that the three monitors were sucking away my frame rates! When I put on the single monitor, they shot way up! Not sure why I never thought of that...

Long story somewhat shorter... From my experience above, I believe you would indeed be better off with the single 49" curved monitor!
