September 24, 20214 yr They keep the floor so clean in the hangar and my stock aircraft look so shiny. The polish they use on my trusty Caravan can't be that durable though cos it falls off once in the air😉 I demand better polish otherwise I want my money back. September 24, 20214 yr Author OK, I'll explain for you wiler: Firstly. The aircraft look much better in my hangar. It could be my PC or it could be something else. Secondly. It was also framed in some humour. Complete with a gentle good humoured dig at complainers. Thirdly: Wiler, judging by your response you seem to be a complainer, you're complaining about my post at least. Fourthly: If you don't like it do not prolong or extend the thread by complaining, ignore it. Fifthly.......jeez Meanwhile, back to humourous observations 🙂 Edited September 24, 20214 yr by GaryK clarity MSFS 2020 i7-4790k @ 4.4ghz for the moment. Asus z87-k mobo. September 24, 20214 yr Not sure about polish ... but certainly topping up the landing lights with some automotive headlight/blinker fluid is a good thing:    Note: these products are NOT suitable for Lucas Electrics which as we all know run on smoke not fluid. September 24, 20214 yr A friend that I occasionally fly with has his 310's hangar fitted with this type floor. No polish needed. I have this material as my garage floor. Dirt and dust fall through it, but can be easily removed with a leaf blower. https://store.swisstrax.com/collections/hangar-flooring  Edited September 24, 20214 yr by fppilot Frank Patton Corsair 5000D Airflow Case; MSI B650 Tomahawk MOB; Ryzen 7 7800 X3D CPU; ASUS RTX 4080 Super; NZXT 360mm liquid cooler; Corsair Vengeance 64GB DDR5 4800 MHz RAM; RMX850X Gold PSU;; ASUS VG289 4K 27" Display; Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo, Crosswind 3's w/dampener.  Former USAF meteorologist & ground weather school instructor. AOPA Member #07379126             "I will never put my name on a product that does not have in it the best that is in me." - John Deere
September 24, 20214 yr It is worth noting that some older British made aircraft may have Lucas Electrics and for these sort of applications US made Headlight Fluid is not suitable and may do more harm than good. Pilots of these older aircraft will often report smoke leaking from under the instrument panel followed by a partial or complete failure of the electrics. Clearly what has happened here is the smoke that traditional Lucas Electrics rely on to function has escaped rendering the wiring inoperable. The solution to this problem is simply inject genuine Lucas replacement smoke back into the wiring harness. .

September 24, 20214 yr What a great thread guys. I wonder if any of these products can be used to polish the backs of the hippos under the murky water in order to make them less visible?? I am surprised that at the very least, an app has not appeared on Flightsim.to make these animals less visible to the naked eye. The obvious solution, of course, is to only fly the SR71 (when it comes to MSFS) at 375000 feet. That'll #%&% em Regards Tony Tony Chilcott.  My System. Motherboard.
