September 26, 20214 yr Mr Tommy has updated his mod to work with the G 1000 NXi. Limitations remain. See the relevant thread over on the MSFS forums: https://flightsim.to/file/2733/da62x-project https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/da62x-improvement-mod-su5-v0-5-0-1-sep-04/294584/2021 Edited September 26, 20214 yr by Ricardo41

Its over 10X the size of the Turbo Bonanza and TBM 930 mods. Does it include a number of liveries or something? Ahh! Just looked at it. It appears to be the complete aircraft, modded. Not just a mod. Did not know that was possible. September 26, 20214 yr Author No liveries, just the mod, and, unfortunately, many of the DA 62 liveries posted on flightsim.to do not work with this mod. Best to stick with the default blue livery.

It's a rebuild of the default 152 with opening windows/doors, and overhauled systems. https://flightsim.to/file/2246/msfs-c152-community
September 26, 20214 yr The Frett G36 was updated today, for those who fly it. I know most around here use the Rob Young version instead. I've used the Frett version for a while so I just stuck with it. https://github.com/TheFrett/msfs_g36_project Quote Current version: 0.6.5 Compatibility update for MSFS version 1.19.9.0 (World Update 6) Compatible with Working Title G1000 NXi v 0.7.0 Features: Flight dynamics/performance Adjusted climb and cruise performance to match the Bonanza G36 POH charts. Adjusted flap and gear drag Slightly reduced pitch effect due to elevator deflection + propwash Slightly increased nosewheel steering angle Added drag due to cowl flaps. This causes a 3-4 kts cruise speed loss. Decreased yaw sensitivity by lowering deflection rate as a function of speed Increased overall stability: less 'twitchy' feeling Engine & Fuel system Completely overhauled engine parameters: realistic fuel flow, mixture-EGT interaction, engine performance at all pressure altitudes. Simulation of the electric fuel pump More advanced simulation of engine startup: Cold starts: correct use of the fuel pump, throttle and mixture required depending on engine and ambient temperature Under some conditions, idling the engine too soon after start may cause it to quit. Flooded engine: pumping too much fuel to the engine may cause it to ignite slower or not at all. Flooded engine start procedure (mixture low/cut, throttle halfway) may resolve this. A hot engine running idle with little airflow may quit because the fuel evaporates. (Hotstarts WIP) Systems Added new working systems and switches: Airco (has a negative effect on engine performance, you will see a few kts lower cruise speed) Airco and ventilator switches are functioning and part of the electrical system Annunciator test Electrical system overhaul: Completely revised electrical buses: all individual systems hooked up to the correct bus Bus tie logic added Correct voltage indications of BUS2 due to reverse current blocking diodes Correct alternator loads Made all indications smooth, rather than instant jumps to a new value Autopilot tweaks Fixed holding the wrong altitude at non-standard atmospheric pressures Max pitch and bank angles adjusted for smoother AP behaviour Added maximum and minimum IAS_ref speeds for FLC mode Adjusted autopilot PIDs Integration with the Working Title NXi mod, with customized ENGINE, LEAN and SYSTEM pages. Completely redone G1000 annunciators: all annunciators of the real G36 were implemented (except for door open warnings) Corrected fuel gauge scale Textures & effects Including the latest version of Uwajimaya's lighting mod (https://uwajimaya.github.io/FS2020/) Corrected decals (e.g. shoulder hardness -> harness) Checklists Interactive checklists for every stage of your flight that follow the POH ATC You are now referenced as Bonanza > Your Callsign in in game ATC SOUNDS Excessive undercarriage wind noise reduced Edited September 26, 20214 yr by Waldo Pepper

Can you post a link to the liveries that work? I tried the ones, for example, in the DA 62 livery pack and had issues. Might be more recent issues. Not sure.

September 26, 20214 yr I am using the WT mod. Apparently more is required than simply copying the DA62X folder into the community folder if you want things to work. Can anyone tell me what needs to be done?. Edited September 26, 20214 yr by tjrush Tom

September 26, 20214 yr 4 hours ago, ryanbatcund said: That one is nice as well but afaik not yet compatible with the NXi I noticed something when playing around with G36 liveries and the NXi's new engine lean menu. I had two liveries, a KLM livery that has no panel folder or any panel config or panel xml. The second, a 75th Anniversary Beechcraft edition livery that does have a panel folder / panel cfg / panel.xml. The KLM livery and the default liveries show the new engine lean submenu and the other new NXi features. The 75th liivery and a few others don't show it, and were missing a few other features. I tried swapping out the panel cfg entries, but it didn't fix the 75th skin. I'm going to delete the panel folder and any mention of it in the aircraft cfg, and then rebuild the json to see if it works. It never occurred to me that even a livery could mess up avionics in such a manner. EDIT: I took the 75th AnniversaryG36 skin and deleted the panel folder, then opened the aircraft.cfg and changed the line referencing the panel to "panel = "" ; panel folder". Then I dropped the layout.json on MSFSlayoutgenerator.exe to rebuild it. Now I have a working 75th ann livery, and a working NXi panel. Not sure if this applies to the DA62 as well, but it probably does. Just wanted to mention it to Ryan because he paints. Edited September 27, 20214 yr by Waldo Pepper
September 27, 20214 yr I have just downloaded this mod (DA-62) and it does not work for me. I have to say though that it has contributed to my MSFS bliss which I attain every day when I load up MSFS 6 or 7 times to find out which aircraft/scenery combination is going to work for the day. This can take up to an hour before I find a combination which works. I tried this DA-62NX with just the blue default scenery and it just crashes to desktop. I have to say though, that this is very normal for the first flight attempt of the day. Regards Tony Tony Chilcott. My System. Motherboard. ASRock Taichi X570 CPU Ryzen 9 3900x (not yet overclocked). FS2004/P3Dv4.5/Xplane.DCS/Aeroflyfs2...MSFS to come for sure.
