Banner at the bottom of the forum screen

Recommended Posts

Noticed we now have a solicitation banner at the bottom of the forums screen on Avsim.  Anyone else see this as a bit annoying?  There's no way to close it I can find.

Curious.  I'm not seeing any banner at the bottom of any of the forums pages, but as RobJC has reacted I presume he can also see it.  I wonder if it's related to any browser preference settings.

Especially annoying on the screenshot forum. Partially blocking the pictures.

I agree, extremely annoying when you are trying to write a reply answer a post.  You have to scroll way up to get enough blank screen to write on.

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

It’s advertised as free but then wants your credit card details before you can download it. So it’s not free really. It looks rather underhand.

i'm using Firefox, not Google Chrome. No banners in this forum at all.

Also no advertisements running before Youtube videos. I'm on Youtube every day. Have not seen a single add on Youtube in about a year. Firefox is the reason.

I'm using FireFox and I see the banner.  Would it be better at the top of the page instead of the bottom?
