Banner at the bottom of the forum screen

Featured Replies

I move the browser window a little down when reading Avsim so that the ad banner is hidden behind my task bar. In that way, Avsim gets the ad money and I don't have to look at flashy ads. I don't mind static ads, but I despise anything that moves a lot. More than once it made me not buy something.

Maybe a banner is there, but I don't identify anything like a banner at bottom of screen. PC desktop, Firefox.

Banner was annoyingly there in Safari - switched to Firefox - no banner.

Showing here both Firefox and Safari.

On my desktop I use Firefox with the uBlock Origin extension. No ads or banner for me.

Not only is it annoying, but it has completely distorted the view of the forum pages. It has become unstable for me, and it zooms in and out without any input from me. I sure hope this changes,

Cheers, Pete

I've had to block ads on my PC which works well, but on Android using Chrome I can't get rid of them, very annoying on a mobile device when they take up most of the screen.

Using my iPad I’ve installed Ad Blocker but it doesn’t appear to be blocking anything. I’m not paying 69GBP per annum purely for my iPad when the free Windows version in Firefox works fine.

Gas anyone using an iPad and Safari found anything free that works?

Really shouldn't be neccessary for any of us to go looking for ad blockers. Whatever you guys did, please reverse it.

I’ve activated it in Settings - Safari. Not sure what else I need to do. ☹️

Have you activated it inside the app. There is a slider for that
