SimUpdate 6 beta has started

Recommended Posts

Despite being on all the betas from the start up to now, that's me done, its not a beta, more a data collection platform.

Look forward to the fixes but still wondering why the effort is in content and not the physics of the platform.......

The pre-release alpha and beta were both a sham, so I am opting out from testing anything else for them unless people report that they take the feedback seriously and address what is being reported, so I get your pain.

geeez the 1.20.5.0 release notes is huuugggeee. To me, it confirms Asobo's commitment to deliver a high fidelity simulator, instead of just a game.

We're trying but MS blocking the one way testers could actually communicate and co-ordinate is not going to help.

I am encouraged by the list of changes they are making, it shows clear determination to make this sim the best possible. Lets not start complaining until we at least see the results, hopefully they have learn't from SU5

testers to send in via the feedback app, appear to be world viewable.

testers are under NDA, but their feedback is public. that's what I call "open for suggestions" 😀

they are beta testing their new beta testing reporting tool, pre-release version 0.1 work-in-progress so to say.

Improved auto rudder assistance crosswind cancellation to make it smooth over 0 to 500ft, instead of brutal on/off on takeoff

Ha love the bluntness of this

That is one massive list, perhaps they've decided this update needs to be a big bug fix one. Still lots missing of course, but it's a start and maybe some more stuff will get added to the list before release.

No matter what they do (good or bad) people will complain anyway, that's just their nature.
