-Improved clipping issue with close trees close to poles by dynamically extending the LOD 14 draw distance
-Optimized conversions for world processing using quatratic lat long conversion approximations


This made me smile.....

-Fixed autogen buildings that were sometimes absent or of low quality in the UK

Cut them some slack. They're pushing the hobby in directions it has never gone before so issues will be inevitable. They also said from day one that this would be a 10 year project. The existence of bugs has no bearing on how committed they are but their willingness to fix things speaks volumes

- Give us trees to the horizon, and then some more.

LOL. I have a better idea. Asobo should just click the "Fix All CTDs" button in their development environment. Done! Seems so stupid not to try that first!

Super hopeful they resolved all the new shimmering and aliasing that was in SU5. One of my favorite things about MSFS before the SU5 update is that there was none of that. No other sim looked so good without those drawback and now all the sudden they're there.

To me it points to what I've always maintained and that is the really hard part was getting the core scenery, lighting, atmosphere, world updates in scenery all at excellent performance levels now on a wide variety of platforms done well.  This was where all of the innovation and effort went while more mundane but important details were left to start dealing with aggressively now.  I see why they did this as well to get something out that was quite effective already on Xbox with a generally somewhat less discerning audience of newcomers.  They are right on queue after SU5 which was the Xbox release with a focus on performance optimization.  That they are coming out with a huge laundry list only confirms how much work it took to as I say get the core scenery, lighting, atmosphere, world updates up to a very high level of performance on a wide array of platforms.  I give MS/A a 5 Star rating.

BTW I think yes, Improved clipping issue with close trees close to poles by dynamically extending the LOD 14 draw distance should mean that the trees are drawn correctly beyond the horizon even at high latitudes (LOD 14).

In some obscure language at least.
