November 1, 20214 yr Is anyone aware of a third party King Air being developed for the sim in the foreseseeable future? The default King Air is an abomination if you ask me 🤨 Come here you big, beautiful cup of coffee and lie to me about how much we’re going to get done today.
November 1, 20214 yr Not that I know of. November 1, 20214 yr I believe I have read somewhere that Milviz will create one, but I cannot recall where I read that and also have no idea about a timeline. Peter

The Milviz King Air 350 in P3D is the best small turboprop around, so if you want it right now that's where to go. With their experience making the KA, hopefully they'll create it for MSFS also. November 1, 20214 yr Agreed. The King Air in MSFS is terrible. I wish the G3000/5000 suite from Working Title would work in that plane. It would definitely help. Such a bummer because the King Air is gorgeous plane and I'd love a better version of one.
November 1, 20214 yr You’re speaking for all of us. even a decent KA around the WT PL21 from the CJ4 would do for now….
November 1, 20214 yr King Air are not and never were available with G3000/5000 avionics packages! . G600/GTN, G1000 and top of line Rockwell Collins’ Pro Line 21 Yes. proper would be the PL21. Edited November 1, 20214 yr by Adrian123

Yes, as I was saying, and probably left out (the avionics), the P3D Milviz King Air 350 has a well-simulated PL21. So, the hope is that this would translate into a MSFS PL21-equipped King Air at some point. A lot of people reading this may already know this, but it sounds like a few people don't. In fact, their PL-21 simulation is really good. G1000 would be all right too, since we have the NXi that's getting better all the time. November 1, 20214 yr I flew the king air with a G1000 for a couple years. Excellent package. Really enjoyed the XM radio. Going to the G1000 from the original analogue panel (employer upgraded the machine) took a little time to get comfortable as I was on the high side of 60....but 6 months with it thought I'd died and found the promised land. For me I'd take the G1000 over the PL21 in real life as I would in the sim - personal choice and preference .- But it needs to be a very good G1000 something like the add-0n TBM900 for XPlane 11. November 1, 20214 yr @dbw1 Dave, have you tried the new NXi? It's basically as good as the default XP11 version. It's free on the in-sim Marketplace. (Oh, maybe you meant a g1000 in a king air - I'd be happy with one as well). November 1, 20214 yr Hi Ryan. Haven't tried the NXI. Not entirely sure what is does in the way of improvements. I'm curious about it though. For whatever reason the Marketplace will not let me buy anything - did for a short time at the beginning of MSFS - so I have given up on it. After my frustrations with trying to correct things even if it started working i wouldn't buy there. I'd welcome a good king air for msfs. The default XP G1000 is not too bad but I wish it had an ADF. The included king air with XP11 is actually very good. I flew one almost identical (engines, garmin 400 instead of the 530, efis, autopilot etc) and while not flashy eye candy really enjoy the XP11 version once in a while.
