After I loaded everything offered (note that I compiled traffic at 66% and had the slider in the traffic controller app set at 100% - which would set traffic at 130% or so) my fps was down to 45 fps, but still smooth. After that I set the controller slider to 80% and haven't checked fps yet. It should be fairly close to the original 60fps. So if we want to go purely by the Traffic Controller app for traffic density, what do you need to set the in-sim traffic density to (as you alluded to that 130% figure)? Former Child, Current Adult

Interesting....I was at 100% on the Traffic Controller slider and noticed a little pause every 30 seconds or so...shut Traffic Controller off...no occasional pause...turned it back to 50%...no pause! Maybe with AI traffic set too thickly it does something that hits the CPU every so many seconds? (I have a 10900K). Steve

It doesn’t affect the fps, but, it is increasing the stutters. I believe I read somewhere that it is keep on spawning AI craft every 10 seconds causing the stutter each time, due to an ASOBO bug…?

My example was to compile the traffic at 66%, when you put the traffic slider in the Traffic Controller app to 66% you're going to get 100% ai traffic injection. As I mentioned my first use was with the traffic slider in the Traffic Controller app set to 100% - that's about equal to asking the program to inject 130% or so, I had about a 15FPS hit with that amount of traffic. My second use, I set the Traffic slider at 60% and had no noticeable fps hit. I think I ran it at 70% and was pretty impressed at the lack of FPS hit. 100% was very noticeable, however. I will probably try 60% and see. Former Child, Current Adult

The weird part, it did not happen on the ground as it did in FSX and P3D during taxi or panning around, but right after take off at 5NM+ from both DEN and SFO. It literally brought my system down to its knees at 1-2FPS, I shut the TC down and it stabilized to my normal system performance. I dialed it down to 75% on the next try and no issue at all. This thing needs work and cooperation from Asobo to fix AI, but once they get all of their ducks in a row, this thing will be awesome. Jacek G. Been testing performance as well, but haven't come across a complete drop yet (memory leak perhaps?). Did run the internal cleanup tools in the Manager (which did find and fix texture and simobject errors), but was hitting performance issues at certain locations more than others. Dropping injection below 80% does seem to reduce the performance drop and stutter issue a fair bit; I can see GPU head back to >90% which means it isn't queuing as much. I'm still trying to figure this out. Thanks for the clean up suggestion. Jacek G. November 14, 20214 yr @Kaiii3 Thanks for your great efforts. I stuck in AI Manager setup "Loading Configuration Files" window at the beginning and it is waiting there for ever. Could not reach he app UI , yet. I think, I skipped slow mode with "NO". ( it should be YES) I deleted the software, deleted Roaming and ProgramData, but still some data is remaining somewhere that prevents to ask slow mode again while reinstallation. Is there any suggestion to move forward ? Thanks Intel i7-9700K - AMD 7900 XT (VRAM 20GB) - 32 Gb Ram - SSD Drive - Win10 x64 - Samsung 43" 4K TV - Quest 3 VR

November 16, 20214 yr Author Just want to say an incredible thank you to @Kaiii3 and the entire team. My wife just walked into my office (first she asked why I wasn't on a call) then she glanced at the PC and literally said holy cow that looks so real as I was hovering over the 777... Really can't thank the team enough for bringing THIS to MSFS... Is AIG perfect, no, not by any means but you can't argue with the end results... I am awestruck this was delivered to the community for free. Thank you! Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
