Just wanted to ask the same question with the weird glitches, on top of the display

I played today for about an hour or more

The glitches started minutes ago

Many threads on this forum, and many threads on the Microsoft/Asobo forum, are reporting a loss of FPS when using DX11 and a huge loss of FPS when using DX12.

I had that happen too. I though it was plane specific. A full shutdown and reboot of the PC fixed everything.

I can't say that.

FPS remained the same

DX11 is smooth here - no frames lost compared to SU6 (checked in dev mode).

Have you reset your graphics settings and reapplied. Or checked with a vanilla install without addons? You can also try running disk cleanup, clearing your directx cache and rebooting.

I played again for about 20 minutes, F18. No glitches

When I started the afterburner, again, same glitches. I'll keep testing

No problem here, same fps, no graphical glitches, amazing weather, in fact sim has never looked better. Very happy with this update so far.

Same here, went from 40 to having a hard time getting to 20fps...I feel for me thoug it might be user error, I reset everything in nvidia control panel and since doing that it got really bad

I got rid of the upper screen glitches by installing the nvidia driver that came out yesterday.... but in europe especially FR is terrible... and in USA it's down to about 25 in a320 where in ultra I always had 40-50.....

I downloaded the new driver also and noticed that's when my frames went down, I since rolled back to a previous driver but didn't help, it's odd as I was getting really good frames until I tried the new driver.

No loss at all for me using DX11 , with DX12 I lost 5 FPS ; but still getting 25 FPS with no stutters .

Me too.

My performance is so bad now… i lost more than 10/15 fps.

I don’t know what I did but I got my frames back, I was playing around with some setting but can’t pinpoint what would have fixed it as I flipped a lot of switches in the options. I know I did cycle the dx11 dx12 function quickly, but can’t say that was it. I also thought maybe it was the new bijan terrain masks that I installed so cycled that off and back on, again can’t say if it was that that fixed it. I also turned off vsync in msfs nvidia control panel, but enabled in sim. (Again no idea what fixed it , but those were all thing so did when I got my frames back)

I don’t know, but I will be taking screen shots of my settings both in sim and in mvidia control panel and will save them for next time this might happen.
