Track IR

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

TrackIR has stopped working in the sim...It works flawlessly on the interface of TrackIR but does not track my head in the sim..

Works perfectly in Prepar3d v5.2..

I have seen a YouTube video where TrackIR is in the controllers or other menu, I do not have that..is that the issue?

Do you have it turned on, in the overhead Camera menu?

As mentioned when in the cockpit go to camera options. Make sure the slider is on.

If you pause trackir it will also stop it in the sim but when you unpause the slider never moves back over.

There was a little app somewhere that stopped this but not sure where I had seen it.

There has been lots of other topics on this. Basically, they broke TrackIR in sim update 7. It was working perfectly, but for some reason, it's broken now. There's workarounds, but it's still really annoying and I hope they address this in a hotfix.

The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA

I just spent 2 hrs flying using TrackHat and the latest OpenTrack 2.3.13.

And it worked flawlessly on the H145 and the Reno races Barons Revenge in a time trial.

I could not make it fail, even by taking the IR lights off and putting them on the floor. I did not have to reset once even.

This is on my 4 monitor system, it is really very good on a 5760x1080 screen. And then instruments on the 4th lower screen using AirManager.

Just the standard camera that comes with TrackHat. PS3 I think. It is on their website.

Hi, I'm the author of this tool.
It has been removed from flightsim.to because some antivirus detect it as malware.
It's of course false positives, it is very frequent with small, unsigned binaries.
Flightsim.to do the right thing doing that, they do not have to handle this responsibility, and that why i take it by putting the tool and it's source code on my Github account:  https://github.com/toorop/AutoTrackIR
I will not try to convince you to trust me, everyone can check the code and even compile it.
And to the question: why don't you try to solve the problem ?
Because it may take a lot of time and i prefer spending time on other things 😉
