It’s normal for Al to go missing from here for weeks or months at a time. He’s done it quite a few times in the past. I think if he gets really busy he stops posting for a while.

I thought so last week that he hasn't been heard from for a while!  Ray thought maybe a shift change at work may be the cause!

Won’t panic just yet then!

True, but in charity I believe Patco maybe have been referencing the urban legend that Elvis is alive and in hiding, sometimes spotted at a Cracker Barrel or wherever.

Perhaps so. Many folks tend to read too much into things, going through life begging to be offended. To those I apologize for my hasty post intended  for humor.

Where did you learn to snark? LOL (literally). Everyone's comments fair enough, methinks. Looking forward to Chock;'s wit and smarts upon his return, possibly quoting Mark Twain.

Be very careful how you word your so-called jokes in situations like these!  I also saw it as Ron did.  You may want to add a Ha Ha! or wink, wink to give an indication.

RX: A hot mug of apple cider with a daub of cool whip on top and a liberal sprinkling of ginger. Accompany with the Christmas episode of season one of Little House on the  Prairie. Real tear jerker when Mr. Edwards shows up on Christmas Eve but we all feel better after a good cry.

I disappear for years at a time and nobody misses me. I also absent myself from this forum for lengthy periods. (Rim shot.) But with me, it usually has to do with a statute of limitations.
