M.S.F.S: "Maybe-Should-Fix-Something"

Featured Replies

Again, i load MSFS to discover that i dont have live weather.

Of course, it is not a drama. Really, some people could say I have no patience: "It has only been a year and a half" since I have been waiting for the real air traffic to work in MSFS, and today, the live weather. When one thing starts to work: Boom! another stops. And when everything has a balance, an update appears that leaves us chaos. I love research and the proliferation of beautiful things like a flight simulator, but I have always preferred that propaganda tell the truth, and not these half-truths.

If I get so philosophical it's not because I like being "bad boy" with Microsoft, it's because if we don't complain, they will repeat this kind of thing over and over again. A town can spend ten years complaining about something until someone in power realizes that it can be fixed in 5 minutes. Please, we need a more stable MSFS, and that fulfills what it has promised. end.

Yes, i could be flying now and stop writing here almost every day. it seems maybe some of them prefer the second thing?

FIX YOUR THINGS AND SELL THEM AFTER.

Just to give you idea. This is not MSFS official web site. Why don't go write directly to them?

I have done this repeatedly over the past 15 or so months and have seen little progress, so I am fully on board with abranpuko.  MS/Asobo is either not listening (on any site), not concerned, or tied to a proprietary technical agreement with no escape.  I however dismiss the latter as it does not appear to be an issue with the data.  It appears to be related to the ability of MSFS to digest the data and properly represent it.

Point in case is reported dewpoint.  It seems that if the temp is greater than 10 then the DP is always reported by ATIS/AWOS as 10, no matter what it is in the real world.  And if the temp is 10 or less it appears the DP begins to reported as a value above 10.  Which never occurs in life as humidity cannot exceed 100%.  It should not be difficult for ATIS/ASOS to read the data and report what it is fed.  And it also would seem like 15 months is more than adequate time allowance to fix it.

But it has not been fixed.

I reported hundredth bugs bugs since alpha. I'm in the same boat as everyone. However, you don't see me ranting all the time. Venting out here doesn't change anything! As I mentioned before make your voice heard send message zen desk or official forum.

They need to show their ears are listening.....  with results.

Cumbersome though it is, I agree zen desk or official forum posts are the most likely way to see things eventually addressed. We don't have any indications any devs are still reading this forum afaik.

A lot of the complaints are perfectly justified, but as many of them are communicated with suggestions that a) the issue is endemic and b) the issue is game-breaking and should clearly be top priority, they can come across as vents.

Again. We are all here in the same boat. Best way to be heard is on official forum! Neither Asobo nor MS reside on avsim.

Respectfully, but aren't you doing the exact same thing?  You obviously saw the title of the thread - yet you entered anyway.  You have responded 3 times - 1 more than the OP! - who has just as much right to post here as anyone else.  Don't like the subject? Then don't enter and read it and simply..... move on.........

Yes I posted about many issue here. But on the way I learnt that the best way to get heard by Asobo is to write on official forum and up vote. As you noticed we have not one but tons of threats similar to this recently. I just channeling rant to right direction. Enough "beating the dead horse". I hope it make sense.

What would you prefer, a sim being actively worked on month by month? Or 14 years of silence from a closed studio?
