The Hornet of today that's set to exit early access is very different than the Hornet that was promised when we bought into early access.  MSI and data cartridge support dropped, entire radar modes missing and bugs in every existing one, the flight model review shelved...  😬.  Then there's the supercarrier, seemingly abandoned since release...

And those are just the models I'm personally familiar with, but you certainly hear griping about the others.  It's still far and away the best naval aviation and air combat experience available in a desktop sim, but I'm not sure they're the team to use as an example of how to do things right...  😉

you are right. I never made it totally in DCS to be honest. I like the idea behind that but creating a flightsim is not easy at all..

So maybe Ubisoft shall take over ? 🤣

Thats for P3D - I don't remember hearing of them working on a MSFS version just yet but I could be wrong.

They won't. I read somewhere Neumann saying that one thing he has learned from a 'mentor' was to stick to his plan. It is a cunning plan 😋. You go flashing in the complaisant  medias an update once a month to lure new customers and damned be the existing ones if their sim is degraded for a couple of weeks and the 3PD.

So are we, the customers of Asobo / Microsoft. This cycle of breaking and changing things every update with no choice but to update is not suitable for a flight simulator with a healthy addon and mod community.

He could have condensed what he wrote down to about two paragraphs too, my god he gives literature authors a run for their money! 

TLDR:

"The 737 NG ain't coming out anytime soon, maybe not ever".

The problem is that Asobo will need to keep on adding missing features and most importantly improve existing ones, then in the next hotfixes and updates, fix the new bugs caused by those sim improvements. Sound really like a vicious circle and when looking at the weekly feedback snapshot, seems like it won't stop this year or the next.

We will get a SU in February mostly on bug fixing, but will it be enough?

Well here’s hoping the maddog is in better shape for a sooner release. 

I was holding off on learning the fbw, maybe it’s time to sit down and get to know each other.
