And still the abomination AKA the pinned "x-plane users are hostile" topic is still in place. Difficult thing is tho, its not personal telling someone they are wrong (although many take it that way) I have at least a little empathy for Greazers displeasure, especially if he is the same Greazer from https://www.youtube.com/c/Greazer whose last XP11 video was from 11 months ago. There are vulkan issues with intel, older nvidia cards and most AMD cards. My old windows (10) laptop wont even start a fresh XP11 demo in opengl anymore, it just sits there not responding, it was never usable, but at least I could use it for testing windows stuff before. I have helped many folks on the "other" X-Plane forum with similar problems and it always boiled down to overclocking/hardware faults, outdated drivers or third-party code or assets running. I am not aware of a single case where the device loss error could not be attributed to one of those three reasons...which are pretty much outside LR´s control and within the users responsibility, I think. So instead of trying to fix the problem he keeps repeating it here, which I think is not fair. It is like those folks on the MSFS forums complaining about stutters and crashes-to-desktop when we all know that those problems were fixed by Asobo quite a while ago. Cheers, Jan I know I often complain about Xplane 11 performance but stability has never been an issue for me even under vulkan. I am flying the Rotate MD-88 right now. No issue. The last time I did a 3 hours flight in the IXEG 737 and it was also very smooth. I just wish Xplane would give me more frames for the visual quality but this is what XPlane 12 is for. I troubleshoot a lot of MSFS issue and 99% of the time , it's an user issue. Not that Asobo is without fault but not everything is on them. There is a ton of bad livery and move for MSFS that will make MSFS crash. Either way, it would be so much better if we can debate without feeling like everything is personal. https://fsprocedures.com Your home for all flight simulator related checklist.
