I agree with your last statement about SU7, but in my experience the hotfix seems to have fixed most issues that came with SU7. Are you actually running the hotfix/patch?

Many of us are suffering from it, was there an update to beta today? As of last night it was the same. I just rarely/never find myself needing to use the mouse and controllers concurrently, so the bug really never effected my flights.

If you have the MS Store version, download XBox Insider Hub app from the MS Store and opt in from there. The rest can come as it's fixed but the main issues such as being reset to easy, VR and TrackIR broken, should have been a priority.
