Single Pilot Jet Recommendations?

Featured Replies

Kinda depressing that, other than this Honda project which we know little to nothing about, there are virtually no other study level single pilot certified jets being worked on for msfs2020, even though we're beyond a year and a half passed the game's release.

No study level Kingair being worked on either it seems.

I guess I understand why, and I'm not trying to open a can of worms...just kinda sad about it is all.

We didn't have a whole lot of addons 2 years into FSX.  Remember the disaster the release version was?  It didn't get great until SP2/Acceleration pack.

Plus business jets haven't really been a huge market in previous sims.  I'm not sure why either.  Everybody and their brother has asked for a long range bizjet for EVER!  I guess devs think they wouldn't sell.  Hot Start just released their incredibly detailed Challenger 650 for xp11 (and free update to xp12).  Eaglesoft had a very detailed C750 back in the day.  Other than those two I cannot think of a high fidelity bizjet to grace our skies.  The Milviz King Air 350i was pretty close but it wasn't a jet clearly hehe.  The WT CJ4 is a really good and probably the best bet for another year or so until the PMDG 737 comes out with a BBJ variant.

FlightFX is also doing a G2 Cirrus Vision Jet - but again we're probably half a year minimum from seeing it.  That one is single pilot and I believe they'll do an amazing job however the G3000 is limited until WT can make a custom flight plan system like their NXi.

Only for some beta testing.  I plan on using xp12 though it looks amazing.  The hot start challenger seems to be almost a standalone sim - it's not for the ctrl+e crowd haha.

Bean, if I may be so bold as to borrow from your profile pic:

No politics, no religion, no drama, no control+e 🙂

I wish that Phenom that was hitting about would get an official release as it’s pretty word not allowed good in all honesty.

If it has the systems, or close to the systems, then yes.  I assume you're referring to that hacked Carenado Phenom?

The systems on the Cirrus G2 are crazy complicated with a parachute recovery system.and an autoland at nearest airport system.

Guys, anyone care to recommend a single pilot jet for msfs2020 which they feel is superb (other than the WT CJ4)?

It's not going to be soon, but I'm looking forward to the Pilatus PC-24 by IRIS Simulations:

The Iris guy makes good stuff.  He is a one man operation, so sometimes gets a bit behind with patches and updates, but the overall quality is there and he does unique aircraft the bigger developers ignore.

If he can come close to replicating the performance of the PC-24, I'm getting it on Day 1!  I usually fly tubeliners, but to be able to fly a jet with a service ceiling of 45,000 ft. that can also land on short strips, grass, dirt roads that would be unaccessible to other jets, then I would have something I could fly fast & high to a whole lot more & challenging places. Can't wait!

Hehehe sadly I also fit that bill lately.  With 4 kids and one being an infant I don't have time to even sim usually.

Once the Flysimware C414AW is out, my understanding is Flysimware is planning on bringing their Lear35A and Falcon50 to MSFS. I know work has started on the MSFS version of the Lear35A.
