C337 - best Carenado yet?

Featured Replies

Tomahawk no, There is another developer that previously made one doing one...

As for a 206... see, I know of a freeware one in development, that excites me... Carenado won't do steam and glass, they'll pump out the glass one and the golf trip interior, and call it done... we won't see a bush plane, just a runabout. 😞

Ah yes, JustFlight - I had it in Xplane and it was generally good, as you would expect from JF.

As for the C185, Bagolu has done a C172 tail-wheel conversion on flightsim.to.  Not sure how close that would be to a 185?

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

it's not got the same performance... and its a modded asobo ship, so, while Bag did a fantastic job on his planes, they're still lacking the fluff I like like doors and windows that open, chocks or bit and bobs, and the interiors are very golf course, such is life though, fantastic mods for what we have atm, but the 185 flies quite differently and has different behavior and is quicker.

No it doesn’t work. What it should do is ‘sweep’ the radar screen and the weather representation will change - subtlety - with each sweep.

This is not Carenado’s fault. It worked very well before SU7 and is scheduled to be fixed by SU8....hopefully.

It works, but not the ranges selection, in my experience, ranges changing takes effect only after turning off and on the radar each time.-

I would love an Aerocommander 500 or (even better) a Turbocommander 690 based on Carenado’s previous designs.  Such wonderful planes!  Such style snd class.

JusfFlight has info and early screenies of their MSFS Tomahawk on their facebook page.  It's from September.

I haven't heard any new JF Tomahawk news since, but my feelers are out for any new information.

It amazes me how much I miss not having a freaking door or window to click on and open and close on the default planes. I know, it is totally not necessary for flight... but a plane just feels downright incomplete without having a virtual door I can close!  😂

I have no idea why on earth they could not have incorporated that simple feature on the default planes. Asobo!!!

When I discovered the husky had an opening door i had a happy squee 😄 It was perfect 😄

I know.  Just a decent C90 with WT PL21.  There was one dev who didn't put much effort into it and released a totally horrible product.  I think it's on their as BT Studio or something.  2ish stars out of 5.
