C337 - best Carenado yet?

Featured Replies

There are some definite rough edges with the C337 that Carenado should address (not least whatever unconverted FSX effect or whatever is causing the _CVT folder to be created) but if they do fix it up it could well be their best MSFS plane so far.

Before the fix the C 337, it would be nice if they fixed the Mooney whose engine quits when you reduce throttle to idle. Been that way for months,

The Seneca is the best unless you don't own it!

I hot-glued a popsicle stick to the low end of my throttle to take care of that....easy fix...can't understand why we should bother Carenado with silly fixes to older aircraft when they have new planes to push out. 🙂

//sarcasm mode off.  (In case it wasn't abundantly clear.)

STILL love the Mooney despite this issue....just a fun (and fast) airplane to fly.

Before I got the Kodiak, I was flying the Seminole mostly along with the DC6. Haven't touched them in weeks.

It is pretty good, however (no fault of Carenado) that windshield de-ice pad discourages me from flying it, bought it and flew it a couple of times and that was it because I can’t stand that de-ice pad smack dab in your view, it’s really annoying…Again it’s no fault of carenado, wish there was a way to remove that de-ice pad!

One look at that waffle Iron in the windscreen turned me off from buying it, so I went with the Seminole.

I bought the Seneca first, then the Seminole, (Seminole is pretty good) I should have know that de-ice pad would have driven me nuts before buying it.

The deice pad actually let's you see farther or is it clearer?  Pretty cool.

It helps alot during approach but otherwise I don't pay any attention to it.

I've  grown to like it.  lol

Hey at least they didn't hang a steam radiator on the windscreen.

Five new updates at the store for Carenado including the Mooney today .

I have tried to like the Seneca, but I can't get the view right.  High enough to see forwards then no view out the side.  Get the side view right then no view out the front.  Those engines fill the side view too.  I actually prefer the Seminole.

External Storage Three 4Tb HDs

I've been flying it since I bought it! My other go-to plane is the Carenado Mooney, so I guess I am a Carenado fan.
