Five new updates at the store for Carenado including the Mooney today .

I have tried to like the Seneca, but I can't get the view right.  High enough to see forwards then no view out the side.  Get the side view right then no view out the front.  Those engines fill the side view too.  I actually prefer the Seminole.

Visibility from the PA-34 cockpit is word not allowede in real life. Of all the light twins I've flown in RL it's the one I like the least. One of the reasons I will never get the Carenado version, even if it's considered "the best" <cough cough>

I had the 337 in FSX and really enjoyed it, don't recall any major gripes, been years since I've flown FSX, but I'm sure I had some annoyances. Here in the MSFS version there's a lot of small things, but nothing major. Biggest annoyance was the default camera view - when up in the air you can trigger the dynamic eye adjustment because so much of the cockpit is in your view the outside gets washed out. Moving the view up fixed that. The aircraft seems to override the MSFS pilot avatars and if you remove weight from the copilot seat the copilot still needs to be disabled with the EFB. Haven't figured a way to feather the props without using the mouse cursor to move past the detent (there are button assignments to toggle feathering but they don't work). Still, got it started, took off, cruised, landed and shut down pretty much by the procedures and it handled and sounded great. Look forward to logging more hours in it

I feel a bit bad for the C337 which was launched and then disappeared under all the Twotter posts.

I'll admit it wasn't love at first sight but I'm finding myself exclusively flying the Milviz Porter, the Kodiak and this.

Its great to fly, sounds great, looks great - surely this is the best Carenado yet?

Loved the P3D one and like this even more.

Fast with excellent visibility so excellent for VFR tourism, enough systems depth to be interesting without being overwhelming, decent flight model, good graphics, good GTN 750 integration.

Not the last word in simulation but not trying to be - a good fun to fly aircraft at a fair price.

WAAAAY better than the C182T, the only previous Carenado MSFS aircraft I'd bought (I like high wings for visibility)

Does anyone know if the weather radar is supposed to work? I have zero experience with weather radars so I don't know what I am doing. I see a lot of INOP buttons, but when I flip the top right switch to different positions I get something.

I will wait and see if it survives the next patch before I decide to buy it.

Will you wait for SU8?, SU9?, SU10?, SU27? By that logic you would never buy it.

I hope some SH modder will do a STOL mod for this wonderful bird.

337 is a very good model, needs some more refinement: backlights on the switch/flap lever/AP button areas.  gauge light knob is difficult to manipulate.  best one from carenado yet.

Weather radar was phutzed by SU7 and/or the following patch; can’t remember which but is due to be fixed by SU8 in February......hopefully 😎

I wonder if MSFS will also get the Ford Pinto flying car version?

I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the C337. I was expecting to be flying the Twotter mostly by this stage but the opposite turned out to be true......the Twotter is gathering dust with its release issues and this is seeing heaps of use.

If I have one complaint it would be the external engine sounds. OMG....they are painfully loud. I find myself having to slip the headphones off my ears when in external view. Apparently the engines are really loud IRL but hey...this is one instance where I don't require total realism.
