Thought I read that Asobo was only going to include fixes & such in Sim Updates and World Updates would be just the scenery thing.

If so, the good news is that nothing should change and get broken.  Right?

(looks around nervously) Right???

umm that's for later releases...for today perhaps we should temper our enthusiasm for a smooth ride 🙃

Yeah I thought that the next SU would be all the bug fixes etc. This one would just be a WU. However, didn't the Japan update break some scenery stuff, trees or something like that? In any case, I hope we are in better shape and we should remain positive for a bug-free future!

Steam version just updated for me, 311 MB out of sim, 1.88 in sim.

Edited by Tuskin38

Steam just installed an update of 311.1 MB ... now on version 1.22.2.0.

Installation manager downloading another 1.88 GB...

When it's ready, let's see the marketplace World update and possibly content manager updates...

Here we go again, how to you install this update. I go into Marketplace, I see Australia, but it tells me my version of MSFS is not ready for it????  Every update, it is a different mystery.

It's been the same update process every time for me:
1. Launch the XBox app and apply the base update.
2. Launch MSFS and let it apply the "main" patch.
3. Once in the main MSFS menu, look for updates in Content Manager and apply them.
4. (When a World Update) Look for updates/additions in the MSFS Marketplace and install them.

It's a bit of a pain in the butt but not too hard.

I use the same procedure and sofar no update issues. It's not too userfriendly but I used to install Windows with floppies so it could be worse.

Well Australia has it....and like all MSFS without the Sydney harbour bridge............thought they would have leant by now.

Seriously a quick look and it all seems nice. I guess we can blame the bridge on Orbx being a Melbourne based company.

I'm sure the bridge is there in the standard scenery just uploaded. If not, what the 'ell did I just fly under?

The bridge is there. Remember that it is a 2 step process: after downloading the update you have to go into marketplace, find the Australia update, and install it. But, I am disappointed to find that Heron Island on the Great Barrier Reef is not there. Hard to figure!

Three step in mine... after I posted it showed up in the uninstalled content section of the Content tab.
