Amazing scenery.  I have downloaded it.  I intend to go to Duxford in the summer.  It is about 2 hours from me but I have never been there.

Flying legends show is a must see...but just found this out. A big plus for me was Duxford was reasonably easy to get too from ooop North, I hope they don't move it further South.

Dear Flying Legends community, pilots and friends,
It is with deep regret that we must confirm the cancellation of Flying Legends 2022. Our search for a suitable alternative to Duxford has not been successful, despite our best efforts.

Remind me again why payware is required in MSFS if freeware looks this good?

Does every freeware look as good? 😉 Anyway, you're totally right about this one.

Got it downloaded earlier, and, if I’m totally honest, I was expecting a bit of a slideshow. Especially given that I fly in VR.  I had read the notes saying that VR users might have to temper their expectations, and download the “Lite” version. I completely ignored the warnings and went for the full fat example.

Imagine my surprise when I took the Turbo Arrow III out for a spin, with live  weather and traffic etc, and had a wonderfully smooth experience. I set up cold and dark by one of the hangars, giving myself the opportunity to have a decent taxi about the place before making my way to the runway.  The level of detail was amazing. And the performance I was getting seemed to surpass that of similar sized payware airports that I have.

I need to log back onto the site now, and give the developer a few bob for a job well done. It’s by far the best airport I have, either paid or free.

5950X, RTX3090, 32GB@3600, Samsung Evo NVME 1TB, Warthog HOTAS, MFG Crosswinds, Reverb G2.

I'll have to add my reaction as well ... utter amazement! What an outstanding piece of work!!

I have downloaded it and  I am very pleased its excellent work, and its a freebie, there is also a brilliant scenery of the Scilly Isles available free.

Superspud's Lands End Airport compliments that really well too and I can also highly recommend his Channel Islands scenery, especially with the free Seafronts Simulation addon.

Back to Duxford though, someone has produced an 'Emergency' addon if you like flying in to save the injured in your HEMS helicopter. Traffic pileup with police, fire engines and ambulances.

If you like Superspud's work, I would also suggest a look at Cardiff and Exeter as well and of course, don't forget to buy him a coffee.

Just a static model for Duxford.

There is a freeware one on flightsim.to, and the author has done some great work, but it is very basic at the moment.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

I know Duxford well, having once lived just up the road and being a member of the IWM. The detail in this scenery is jaw dropping - even the information placards for the airliners are there. The section of Mulberry harbour up by the Land Warfare Hall is to be added at a later date, but this Duxford is already perfection. An extraordinary achievement.

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.
