Can't blame them for making stuff that would be more popular first, and then moving on to more niche add-ons. The more they sit on big airports they have a considerable base for (because they made them for previous sims), the more there's a chance that someone new will eat their lunch as it's happening here. I agree partially. Not sure Athens however would be in that category. TPA has a metro population of over 3m. You have a point. But then again I could say the same thing living in the US if the company was called FLYDüsseldorf vs FlyTampa. If I didn't have a good grasp on geography, I'd would 't know the city/airport of Düsseldorf from a Wizard in Harry Potter. 🤣 However a flightsimmer living in Frankfurt could make the same statement if FLYDüsseldorf came out with Tampa 1st, then every other airport they created in FSX/P3D, and not even mentioned if they plan to release Düsseldorf. 😉 Its all about perspective. 🙂 Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here

February 28, 20224 yr It makes more sense that FT where waiting for SU8 before release rather than announcing the release because the competition released theirs. Anyway, Seasoned Flight Simmers wouldn't buy an addon like YYZ from a green developer knowing that FT YYZ was on short final. Sure I'll wait for reviews. Perhaps we will be surprised and the REG version will get more favourable reviews than FT but I seriously doubt it. FT have been and still are among the very small list of very highly regarded 3rd party developers in Flight Sim. I'm a seasoned flight simmer, since the times of Flight Simulator by Psion. I'll buy the one that's better. Can't care less about brands. For now, Reg's work looks very good. Will see if FT's is better or worse, and then will decide. 5 minutes ago, DJJose said: Look they even added the dev fps counter. 😀 That's not CYYZ. That's KBOS. Folks at FSElite likely didn't notice and threw them all in the same gallery. Weird that they didn't show Toronto's, to be honest. February 28, 20224 yr I thought somebody mentioned that it takes about 2years to develop a hihghly detailed airport. I am still a big fan of flytampa, but the public relations need a bit help. Competition is good, now will be able to have a choice based on performance accuracy and of course price.
