March 30, 20224 yr She's a beauty, especially the exterior modelling is jaw dropping. Well done! Wonder if us P3D bae146 owners (and X-plane ofc) get any kind of discount when purchasing this bird for MSFS? Speaking of P3D variant, I always found the nose attitude to be little high on final approach. Given that these airframes lack leading edge devices, the attitude would be more akin to a slight nose-down fully configured for landing. But some previews (Flightdeck2Sim, excellent video btw!) the plane has 2 degrees nose-up fully configured - which he even confirms in the video. That's quite excessive isn't it? March 30, 20224 yr Commercial Member To confirm the pricing for you all. It will cost £59.99/€74.95/$79.99 and you can get a 20% discount if you owned either the P3D or X-Plane owners. All 8 variants will be included at launch and this version will have way way more than the original versions. This we consider a very fair price for what you'll be getting. If it's still too expensive for you then we totally understand, it's your choice. Watch the recent videos and those to come to see just what's going to be on offer here guys.
March 30, 20224 yr Can you confirm the discount is only for the Professional owners and not the older '146-200/300 Jetliner'? Sure that's the case but JIC... Just for feedback I'd be happy with just one variant for a lower price 🙂 ...
March 30, 20224 yr As much as I will acknowledge that this is a truly exceptional piece of work, I know right now that I just wouldn't fly it enough to justify the price tag so I will save for the Tomahawk and most likely whatever else you have coming down the line. This may be the only 100% Just Flight add-on I will pass on but still watch the videos in awe.

There's just so much more on offer here. Quite soon we'll be publishing a small document that outlines all the new things that are part of this that are over and above anything you got in the original P3d and XP versions. That might help.

Sorry I have barely any knowledge of this aircraft, are paid variants planed in the future? (like Aerosoft did with the CRJ 900/1000 extension, or how PMDG should do it with multiple versions of their 737 package, or you did it with multiple Arrows)

After that we will be doing the RJ variant but that will be a paid add-on (discount for current 146 owners) All the details for the 146 are here: https://www.justflight.com/in-development/146-professional-microsoft-flight-simulator I do hope that helps.
March 30, 20224 yr I read not too long ago, or saw in a preview video, that the FMC was still being worked on. Will that be fully functional upon release? T45

Oh I thought they were releasing it earlier and then adding the FMS later. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

FMC will be added very soon, testing and tweaking then to take place. It'll be in for the release and be featured in pre-release videos we'd anticipate. Hope that covers that and helps clarify things.
March 31, 20224 yr It's not too expensive for me personally (it's expensive, but not something I'm 100% unwilling to pay for a really good aircraft), but looking beyond the discussion on whether it's a fair price or not (money has a different value for different people), I feel this kind of pricing will be hard to swallow for anyone who isn't a already engaged core simmer directly interested in vintage airliners. I have a feeling that it'll turn off most people who are on the fence about vintage airliners, and anyone who is newly-approaching simulators and isn't used to the crazy pricing that we've had in the past decade. The full price of an AAA game is a pretty tall psychological threshold to overcome for any add-on content, and IMHO Just Flight would have likely turned in better revenue (not by a small margin) with a more accessible pricing scheme that took a stab at the many, many new simmers who have been hearing a lot about these "High-fidelity aircraft" and would like to try one. It's not apples to apples by any means, but I have a feeling Just Flight will see the Concorde perform extremely well despite some negativity from simmers, and the BAE sell a bit more than other on platforms but not overwhelmingly more. This should inform them for the future on what end of the the "AAA Game" pricing threshold is more effective to widen an aircraft's target while maximizing revenue. On top of that, a pricing over that threshold makes the release possibly more vulnerable to external influence, IE: the possibility that other anticipated add-ons may be released in a similar timeframe.
