Nothing. Deleted the previous uninstall. Downloaded the new installer (it has now been downloaded to 1.4.2 beta) and reinstalled if major hiccup.
The plane folder also appears in the community folder with a size of 2.82GB once installed but the plane continues without appearing in the simulator as if it did not detect the installation.
I do not complicate myself more because this, in addition, is not complicated at all to do.
I will put a ticket in support and depending on what they respond, I will act.

I think the issue is the folder path. My stuff shows up in the same path as yours except the Folder is 'LocalState' NOT 'LocalCache'. Try moving the 414 folder from the LocalCache to the LocalState and see if the plane shows up.

I have lost electrics in the aircraft mid flight on two occasions the last time on latest release 1.4.2. Alternators are on, only nav lights and beacon. All avionics go black, loose ability to control throttles. Really annoying

PLS state GPS...

PMS GTN750 here(1.4.2 hotfix) - unable to catch GS. Intercepted LLZ in NAV mode. Then pressed APR. Small GS appears in AP. But failed to intercept GS - went straight through ("intercepted" from below).

1.4.2. lost the ability to fly a proper RNAV LPV approach with the TDS GTNXI for me.

I have gone back to 1.4.0. which works again. 😉

That's strange. I've flown 4 GPS LPV approaches today at two different airports and all worked well. IAS on final about 108 kts.

In what way did the approaches not work?

I tried another flight with the GNS model.  Again I could not get it to capture altitude.  I turned off the altitude alert and manually leveled off the aircraft at altitude with the autopilot trim knob.  Once level I clicked the ALT button and the aircraft started a 3,000 fpm climb.

Just to check, after you set the target altitude in the altitude alerter,  you have to arm the alerter, then push the ALT button on the AP mode panel, and then use the AP wheel to set a VS for the climb (or descent).

With the GNS750 and after arming my wanted altitude I have had no issues not only reaching the altitude but holding it as well.

Why are some getting mixed results?   I have tried both air speed and vertical speed and its hit it every time, even on descent. Is everyone arming their altitude alert?

Edit: Just noticed ark's response.

That is what I initially did and that did not work.  This is with the GNS model.  It used to work that way two hotfixes ago.

Agree. I just tried it and the ALT button does not seem to be working.

Is it possible to tune and use NAV2 with the GTN50 (Nxi)in the C414? Some approaches use a second VOR for reference, for instance Madrid LEMD ILS Y Rwy 18R uses S.S.Reyes SSR VOR also for reference, but if have tuned NAV1 for the LOC I would not know how to tune SSY at the same time.

I have this same issue with the GNS 530 on 1.4.2, I set the altitude and 'arm' it, enable ALT and AP but the aircraft just continues climbing through the set altitude - this was working on previous versions

I'm synchronising the propeller RPMs manually by the gauges as close as I can (adjusting downwards as per the POH), then I switch on the PHASE switch and the PROP SYNC light illuminates.

Then I hear the noise of the propeller RPMs being slightly out of phase with each other, i.e slow increase and decrease of volume and vibration (which can get quite wearing on a long flight).  My understanding is that the PHASING knob should be adjusted to tune that out so that the propellers are accurately in phase with each other, with constant volume sound.

But my adjustment of the PHASING knob doesn't seem to make any difference.  Is this adjustment function actually modelled?  Or is it just the knob animation that is modelled, with no actual effect?  Is anybody seeing (hearing) this working?

For information see extract from the POH:

Can't you just tune the NAV freq in the second GTN750(ie NAV2)? And switch NAV1 or 2 in the DME selector...works in PMS 750.

You can tune a second VOR into NAV 2 and monitor the second VOR on the RMI card, but you can't switch to NAV 2 on the PMS50 GTN so it's most likely that way on the Nxi.
