One other thing Im having trouble figuring out, and I didn't see it in any of the documentation, is where you tell the Challenger which avionics package you want. You don't... you choose the livery that has the avionics package that you want. Bert

I also may need to update Addon Linker to the latest version...I'm sure I'm behind. Edited April 6, 20224 yr by Mace that's Addon Linker, not Addon Organizer... April 6, 20224 yr With the TDS, when installing it puts the gauge in the Com folder and modify s the EXE.xml to start with MSFS. The PMS is just a drop in Community folder and it does its thing. Drop down tool bar integration. I discovered this having to do a reinstall when opting in for Steam beta. ;(

I'm really not sure. Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB
April 7, 20224 yr Moderator FWIW, I originally had the black screens - reinstalled the TDS-Nxi and it installed the gauge in community folder. Now all I do is star MSFS, select the TDS Nxi livery and go fly. When system is powered the 750's come on. No need for any manual start of helper app. I also use AddonLinker and turn both the PMS and TDS on and off accordingly. RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

I know I used to start it prior to starting MSFS That's just weird. I reinstalled the TDS unit and it did not add an entry to my exe.xml file. All I have in there is the AFC_bridge for the honeycomb. I'll just add the entry myself I guess. Or stick it in my startup batch file. I also did another C414 GS / LOC capture test tonight -- it did capture using the TDS 750. However, it again followed the GS very low. This was at a default airport (KCGI) / default scenery and I know that's a good ILS because I fly it in other aircraft. I don't know if this is a feature of the TDS unit or the C414 though. Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

I find that it likes 120 kts a lot better than 105 kts.. Bert

I have been working with TDS tech support for over a week now and they are working on the problem. They sent me a copy of the file that should start the software with the sim. I compared the file to mine, they were identical but I replaced my file with theirs but it still didn't work. I do have to start the standalone version first and then when the sim loads the standalone version goes away and the TDS splash screen appears in the sim and the GTN's work. The virus program problem was also a known problem to them. Even with exceptions add the virus program eventually causes the GTN's to freeze. In the meantime with the work around the TDS GTN's work fine, so not a big problem. The TDS tech support is great to work with. Very refreshing. 😊 Bill Bill N7IBG
