What aircraft are you flying?

During that test, it was a product I will be releasing soon.. it has now CFD and prop physics enabled..

It's the same for me over dead flat Norfolk. It's not the movement that I don't like it's the slide show jerking as if the plane has no weight whatsoever. I am guessing that every developer will have to revise their planes flight model for this to be fixed for SU9. But how many will bother?

nothing we can fix.. the sim is doing this..

People in here complaining because it finally is pretty realistic and close to real life. This is from years of fling on rails in other Sims. I hope Asobo ignores everyone complaining.

Interesting attitude. I really hope Asobo does not only listen to yeasayers.

As a RW pilot and having flown the C172 in real life, I can confirm that the turbulence when the wind is set at zero knots is well overdone since the update.  It will be interesting to see what it is like on my next flight with a 25 kt wind set.

0 wind = no turbulence.   I don't get it.  So If you have 0 wind you should not encounter turbulence?   So does a glider need wind to fly?

Many hours in a !72 and 152. You can have a calm wind day, and thermal turbulence, try flying on a hot summer day.

Interesting! I presume you can't talk much about your new aircraft as of now, but are you able to give your thoughts on the new CFD and prop physics capabilities in MSFS?

It helped me to replicate the stall behaviour of the aircraft as per real world.. which was not possible with SU7 - SU8.. if you want to know more about what I will be releasing, check my FB page or my discord server and stay tuned.

Latest version of MSFS feels the most realistic to me - still doesn't move around as much as it should in bumpy weather.  Look at some of the videos out there of pilots really fighting the yoke, so it shouldn't be a surprise if a light aircraft moves around even more.  I have experienced perfectly calm flights without a single bump, but in my experience most flights are bumpy.

But, should it be like this on EVERY flight in the sim?

Of course one will get a bumpy ride from time to time, but, ALL the time?

It has been overdone in the sim this time and needs a slider for sim pilots to tone it down, except for those who like to puke, not me. LOL🤢

It isn't like it on every flight in the sim. I just did a flight in the Los Angeles area and it was pretty smooth.

Then maybe you don't have to comment anymore on this topic. Apparently you find the turbulence acceptable. Some of us, including myself as the OP, are having difficulties. And yes, it is with every flight with the 172. What I need from this forum is the knowledge that I am not the only one who is experiencing this and that possibly there is a fix on the horizon or a change in my settings.

Being told that any action or behavior in the sim is normal does not help me at all, because, subjectivity is the spice of life.

P.S. There is a reason why GA pilots like to fly in the early morning. Afternoons and heat build up can put you in the wash a bit.

The spray planes in the NSW cotton country just west of here spray at night so they can get right down on the crop. Too much turbulence any other time of day.

When your summertime temps are approaching 40C by breakfast time you get that.

If I have a problem in the sim, but somebody else says they don't have it, is helpful to me because it suggests something may be off in my sim. I mention I have flights of varying turbulence. Surely if you only get replies from people who have your 'difficulty' then you might think it can only be the sim at fault?

You mention turbulence 'has been overdone in the sim' - what do you base this on?  I ask because I have yet to have a flight in the sim where the turbulence wasn't manageable.

Some of us, reread all the comments since my first post, are having difficulties. Not all. I was reassured that I was not alone in my assessment . CAVU to you...Thanks for commenting. I enjoy this forum for its wealth of knowledge.👍

But I am experiencing the issue with temps as low as -2 Celsius!  As I said it is spring right now not even summer
