Anyone hard at work burning midnight oil?  None up yet at TO. Who will be first?  Will it be the Songbird?  Or 331 Bravo Charlie?  Or a U3A variant Air Force or Army Blue Canoe?

I love aircraft with red in them, hope someone does that.

For the Blue Canoe, you should wait until the service pack, it may be included then.

My first ride in a 310 was as a USAF meteorologist in a USAF Blue Canoe from Ft Leonard Wood, Missouri, to a commander's call at our weather detachment hdqtrs at Ft Leavenworth, Kansas.  I can still recall the smells of that cabin.  It was based at Leavenworth, not hangered, resided in an often hot and humid environment, with no sunshades.  If I recall it had less than 300 hours on it.

I favored the Beech T42 from Ft Wood, in which I gained my multi and IFR ratings.  It was hangered and kept spotless, by the Army!  Go figure!

I do long for a Milviz B55/T42 Baron for MSFS,,,,,  Ron Attwood did a perfectly fabulous T42 livery at my request for FSX.  I have thus not uninstalled FSX SE.

Hmmm....been wrapped up in another "twin" (slightly bigger, LOL) coming soon to even look at what seems to be a decent plane.

No paintkit yet for this one...and without even seeing the texture maps I couldn't say how easy she'd be to paint.

I'm still behind on this one (on hold actually until the 737 releases), but not even sure if I can justify the price of the 310 just to paint her for you guys. 😞

I figured @ryanbatc would have had 10-15 liveries done for her by now. 🙂

Maybe if someone posts screens of the texture maps I could see what it'd take to at least strip all the paint off her like I did the 414a. 😉

I wonder if the wear and tear visual effects will be an issue for re-painters.

How did you do that without a paint kit?

Painters have ways of doing things. 😉

You don't need a paintkit to paint liveries...it only helps the painter.  Just a lot harder on some aircraft depending on the texture map layout. With some aircraft I never used the official "paintkit" if it was released way after the bird, by the time they released one, I had already created my own and had several liveries already out the door.

Almost like you can fly the DC-6 with only the keyboard...but having a good yoke, throttle and other peripherals makes it much easier (and enjoyable) hehe.

Hoping I'll get a chance to paint the 310....just can't pick her up right now because of this one I'm currently painting (This shot was taken this morning after I made some tweaks to the paint and checking her out in the sim.  I can't wait for you guys to fly her, she's an absolutely stunning plane) 🙂

Painting her and beta testing her at the same time is taking 100% of my time.  I'll need a break after she's released and probably will do some relaxing GA flying afterwards.  I've already started browsing 310 liveries...thinking "Hmmmm" LOL.  Its a sickness.   Determined not to buy the 310 yet as it will lead to me straying off task, I'll say to myself  "I just take a peak at the texture maps and see how they are setup".🤔

Well, I for one, am not buying the 310 until there is a Songbird livery to use on it.

I watched that show every week when I was a teenager. I always wanted to fly after that. Didn't get my PPL until I was 38, but I got.
