They're (ORBX) definitely not what they use to be, I barely buy anything from them any more. I use to buy EVERYTHING when it came out, no matter what it was. I bought two of their sceneries when MSFS came out -- this one and KSBA -- and found both lackluster. In the two years since I have purchased nothing more from them, not as a protest but I just have not seen anything I really liked and thought was worth the money they were charging. May 18, 20224 yr Why don't we drop the politics. Just because you don't agree with someone doesn't mean they're woke or bigoted. This thread is about, well the fall of Orbx - at least apparent with this product. Hopefully they take a look at their product quality for future releases. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

The problem is someone posting so reckless and distasteful on forums they do not own. We don't know what relationship ORBX has with AVSIM, it's a pretty bad look to read such rhetoric on a message board/forum where the actual staff/owners don't even feel or would speak in such a way. This is also place of business, not RW1's personal diary/manifesto, certain things should be kept to one's self. It was pretty distasteful and irresponsible to make such generalizations of ORBX's CEO on someone elses forums and most importantly reputation! Peace! It's become all business now. More focus on P and L than on the quality and optimisation of their scenery I would imagine. I compare two major airports YBBN by ORBX and NZAA by FlightBeam. The detail of FlightBeam compared to ORBX is night and day, plus, their NZAA is smooth as silk and well optimised. I wish someone from ORBX could do a little research on how to build in more quality and have the scenery optimised to FlightBeams level. Anyway, it's a shame, however so many good developers are making amazing scenery. The competition has stepped up a bit over the last couple of years. Jase Jaseman. Lovin it up here........ Sadly, this is the "new Orbx" rolling out since MSFS. Some of their other P3D airports were also ported over and are poor quality in comparison to what many other devs are producing for MSFS.
